Rust-Kits

I'm having trouble adding kits, plug in is loaded but when I go to add a kit it tells me "You don't have permission to use this command" I'm also owner on my server - any advice ? thanks in advance !

 

If you dont have permission then you cant be an admin with auth 2

 

I've re-added myself as owner again to see if it will help, and I was mistaken earlier, it doesn't say permission, it says "You don't have access to this command" Not sure if their is much difference between the two.

 

If it saying you dont have the permission for this plugin as it does not need oxide permissions it means you dont have auth 2 ie your not an admin

 

I understand that but, I do have auth and every other plug in works, just not this one..

 

Go to the cfg file in the cfg folder open it with notepad++ and post what it says here

 

Clair I am having the same issue and I have done what he has said many times and double checked it all.

I have Auth lvl 1 idk if that is admin or not but I did look up how to set myself as admin and did that. If I cant figure this out soon I'll try another plugin. I'll keep an eye on this thread but if nothing comes up to fix it then there is nothing else I can do.

 

I'm not experienced at all with plug ins or hosting my own server, this is the first one i've had. I'm gonna give it a rest for tonight and do it again tomorrow, it's a little overwealming when you have no idea what you're doing haha

I think i may have figured out my problem. I was set to moderator not owner. If you open your server cmd console (not ingame) and after you start the server let it run. When it gets to the part where it says "Processing Queue" type in "ownerid (Steamid)" the steamid part you will need to look up. Go to your steam profile on a web browser. The last part of the website adress when your on your profile will liike like this "Steam Community :: Purgatorytiger" The part you replace (Steamid) with is the last numbers "76561198079740225" then enter it will make you an owner not an admin and that makes a difference. I am checking right now to see if it works or not ill let you know when i know.

 

I've tried both Mod and Owner - neither work for me but let me know how you go !

Yeah I've done both again, still getting the same message of "You cannot access this command" Oh this isn't easy haha at least you've gotten further than me !

 

Yea i finally got it to work properly but it is weird that yours isnt working. Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall it?

 

I have indeed, also deleted the plug in and downloaded it again to make sure. I'll tweak with it some more tomorrow, I'm happy to hear yours is working though !

Having a issue that any reset the kits get reset (all) and players can re-use them.. Please fix!

I was wondering if there is a way to add an additional auto kit an limit it to a certain groups like say vip?
i want the regular auto kit to go to normal players but want and additional kit to go to those of the vip group?
any help would be helpful
