They are getting reset as you have a error in them I need you to upload the file I cant work or help with nothing

No that kits.json is from the config folder and I dont need to ever see the kits_data.json

 

That is from data. Can I have your kits.json instead to be uploaded here ?

 

You need to make your own if you follow what I posted above ie delete both files in data folder and reload the plugin the go make kits follow my post on page 324 and the only way the config file can get into the data folder is it was uploaded to it

 

I need a answer very quick. I own a server and I add all of the kits it works fine but after a restart the kits are gone?

 

check logs
remake kits then upload kits.json from data folder and if you use the GUI then upload the file from config folder

 

I keep getting Kit Doesn't Exist. I can redeem the kit by typing /kit "Starter Kit" but can't redeem from the GUI.

 

Hello all!
Whenever anyone types /kit, a blank window pops up with no buttons at all. It prevents all activity from being done (essentially turning the character into a mute vegetable) and the only way to return to normal is to restart the game. Anyone know the cause or fixes? Nothing pops up in Rcon or the error log when this happens. I have tried deleting the Kits.cs file and uploading a freshly downloaded copy of Kits.cs but that has not fixed it.

this has prob being asked before but im trying to make a blueprint kit here is what ive done

got 2 blue prints made the kit up but when i try and get the kit it just gives me a blank blueprint is there any way around this please

 

I figured it out. The kits.json file from the data folder was corrupt so i deleted that and refreshed the Kits plugin. It works now!

 

The first one is from config and the second is from data

 

Your problem was you cant have a space for the kit name in data or config file also in the config you must remove the kit1 and kit2 as these are only samples.

1. So first unload kit plugin
2. delete the kits_data.json file
3. upload the files
4. reload plugin

 

I did what you said and also took out the space in the name and it is now working. Thank you so much.

After all this time. It fixed by the admin of my host gameserver by changing extension at the config & data folder from .json to .cfg.
I quoted messages in the overview that this plugins doesn't require any .json file anymore and then they realized everything change recently.
For some reason I just hate this host since they got minimum to update config files etc.
Anyway, thanks for the hook and your guidance

Maybe you got the same problem as me. Are you using clanforge ? If yes then it must be resolved since they update to all user.
If not maybe you can try to change what I mentioned above.

The file in the data folder should be a json so no idea what you asked your host to do that for and why
