Can you give me the code on what a kit looks like with stuff in it because I dont know if I'm retarded or something but I just cant seem to get it working.

No you are not "retarded"... you are LAZY. Read the OVERVIEW, or watch the video, or read any page in this entire thread... at-least once on every page is an explanation of what you are NOT doing...

/kit add kitname
....----> now you have made a new kit and are in "edit mode"...
/kit items

^^ that just copied the items in your inventory to the "kit" you created.

Please do everyone a favor and make an effort to read before wasting our time.

I'm new to hosting a server (been doin it for about 10 mins) and i'm struggling to get access to these commands, do i have to add my steamID somewhere in the config or how does it work?

I have not! Where do i change that? I've read through the overview but i might've missed it i guess.

I added myself as owner then i made 2 kits, and restarted the server. Now I cant do kit add anymore even after adding myself as owner again \o/

After adding yourself as an admin you need to in rcon type server.writecfg then relog all the info was in the posts I linked I know it takes a while to look over 50 pages so to save you time just do the above

 

Remember to do /kit items to make sure the items are actually in the kit

 

Sorry guys I didn't realize that /kit items saves the items in your inventory I did watch the 1st video but I thought he just put the stuff in his inventory then just did /kit add and the items were there when he made it

 

Is there no way to get the old UI back? I dont want the annoying overlay - just the simple chat output as it has been for ages...?

hello, I'm trying to figure out how to increase a players max kits without restarting the server. Every time I reload the plugin the Kits_Data values are set to the original.

 

Your comment implies you knew how to use the old version. Luckily for you the functionality is IDENTICAL. The only change is the look and the ability to add kits to the NPC or Global GUI from within game.

If you need assistance read the overview or watch one of the two videos.

You should /kit edit kitname .. . . . .. /kit max YOURNEWVALUE

If you would rather do it via the json.. you first need to unload the plugin. Then make changes. Then load the plugin.
