1. i download the server and client for the oficial page. i noted that when tha game is charging put Easyanicheat.... but i think is not working. still have players with that hack playing

  4. I understand this cheat works when a large number of values, you could make the ability to set a maximum value stacks in Inventor player, say 9999 and if suddenly there is something higher than this means that the player uses dyupe
     
  5. The thing is you cannot prevent all hacks at once some will work for lets say 3-5 days and then the user will be banned. (best case even before with the requirement that the hack is already detected)
    What you could do is get Minimum Playtime Checker for Rust | Oxide to prevent users who haven't played rust for atleast 2 hours to join.
    Most cheaters use the refund policy from steam to get rust cheat for 1 hr and 50 min and then refund it back so even if they get banned it doesn't matter.
    With that plugin you could get rid of those players at least.
    For the moment you would need custom hooks to check specific stuff. ESP you cannot prevent through a plugin that is the job of EAC and it works quite fine. There will always be a fight between hacks and the EAC. Some private hacks will work for a long time since there are some private hacks which are only used for a very small group making the detection even harder and even more those hacks aren't really for sale so devs cannot have a depth look into it nor will those small groups be willing to provide the devs with their private hacks.

    Be ensured Garry as well as Facepunch work hard to get Rust cheatfree as far as possible.
    I got banned within 2 days on my main after I tried to test the vis.attack command to see how far it can check cheaters and I did this on my own server in a test enviroment. I do know I shouldn't have used it in the first place but my intention was protecting my own server more and am also supporting the reporting part of rust.

    You should be aware there will never be a full protection against hacks aswell there will never be a undetected hack that lasts for ever.
    In somepoints Unity isn't best for anti-cheat methods. Since if a game based on Unity starts MP without an implemented AntiCheat it is one of the easiest to work around and cheat. From using CE till modify the AssemblyCSharp best example besides Rust would be for example Reign of Kings.

    The BEST possible way would be creating a global banlist database which is controlled by server admins which can identify hacks and handle banning in discret. That is something I am thinking about to create at some point since I would have the hardware and time to maintain such project.
    Developers are already within the most common forums where cheats and hacks are being distributed and discussed on their development.

    You could patch the AntiCheat.cs so it doesn't send out any chat
    @Reneb Not sure if there is a option to make it log only and make silent punishments so it doesn't show up in chat

    Patching SendMsgAdmin should be enough right ?

  9. plugin is up to date....problems is at 1 week ...when i have more than 100players on server shows my ..(...dedected is hitting to fast...)..all 10 sekonds a stack whit 5 -10 players who was detected...i cant no read other chatlines from players who need help ...my question...=give it a way that i can put out the chatlines(player1 was detect .....) and the plugin works whitout this chatlines?sorry for my english hope u understand my problem...its only at a week the problem befor no problems.....or is it an erroor whit an other plugin?i dont think thats all cheaters-- pls help m[/QUOTE]

  12. I was able to remove resources when throwing them to the ground, but still Inventor changes the value of the resources that you recommend?

  15. Got reports of a hacker (w/video proof) that was somehow spawning airdrops, note that i changed my rcon passwords in all my servers after this last 'security update' , just a heads up.

    I do not think that there is a exploit within rcon console or a plugin.
    Still could be but I do not think so.

    [Oxide] 12:26 AM [Warning] Missing plugin name prefix 'anticheat. for permission 'cananticheat' (by plugin 'AntiCheat')

    so how can i test if anticheat works?
