1. Admin names have same colours now in the players list :(

  2. Set Hide Admins to false.

  3. Havent update to this last one that you now have realesed but in the 2.9.0 version i had a questionmark as logo in the chat when the addon broadcast a message. Really liked the Rust logo that was before, made it look clean. Any way to get it back in the addon?

Im waiting till the errors are fixed, got My server thru multiplay and they have to add every single update. So i contact them when the addon seem to work without errors. Really like this addon!

  4. it works now. w/ 2.9.2

  5. My mail now explode from such stuff!!!

That's seems to come from the DeinServerHost server setup. Oxide installation is managed by a control panel. I don't have access to Oxide files.

    C:\TCAFiles\Users\Name\10739\server\my_server_identity\oxide\logs\notifier_connections_07-2015.txt
The oxide folder doesn't appear for me on the FTP.
logs folder is in my_server_identity directly.

    Don't know if it helps.

That's not a major bug, plugin works properly. It just spam my console every leave and join ... annoying as hell.

  7. i am on deinserverhost too

    worked fine
[DOUBLEPOST=1435783670][/DOUBLEPOST]okay or maybe not ^^ only 3 ADVERTS, now there are no more ads o.o

  8. ok thanks, here it is. Thanks for your help!

  9. simple as that ... feel dumb now.
sorry for bothering you for nothing.

    Thx for your work.

  10. So do I have to modify the plugin's default config so mine isn't erased each time I reload the plugin/restart the server? It keeps reverting back to the original config.

  11. yes you do, had the same issue
unload the plugin, remove config, update the plugin, download the new config file and edit it. Reload, that worked for me.

  12. Yeah it removes the old config automatically. I mean do I have to open the python file, and edit the config before it is even placed into my config folder? Each time I edit the .json config it reverts back to the default when oxide.reload.

  13. 1. in console, oxide.unload notifier
    2. delete your old version of plugin notifier.py on the ftp.
    3. delete your old config file notifier.json on the ftp.
    4. upload the new version of notifier.py, it loads automaticly and generates a new config file notifier.json.
    5. download the new generated config file and edit it.
    6. upload your edited config file, and replace the existing one.
    7. in console, oxide.reload notifier
    Code:

  14. Yeah I know. Thanks for the help. I'll just edit the python file.

  15. Hard at work with the updates SkinN õ.Õ'.|., thanks for your efforts!

  16. Thanks for the great plugin. Another question, how do I edit {user} color?

  17. i added The Netherlands , Israël and New Zealand

  18. I don't understand? why do you have to edit the py file? the new version fixes the problem you're describing, the other guy was telling you to update.

  19. I did update. I updated multiple times. I re-downloaded the new 'notifier.py' multiple times. I removed the config, I reloaded the plugin. It didn't work.

I'm not trying to be a dick. I understand basic instructions, I edited the config, reloaded the plugin, it threw no errors but it kept reverting back to the original config.

  20. ANNOUNCEMENT:

    Hi everyone,

    - The mess:
This message is for all of you that have been and still are experiencing all the issues which versions 2.8 and 2.9 have brought, nothing has worked as I had planned, not because I failed testing everything out but in fact because I wanted to think of helping you having a clean and easy passing from version v2.7 to v2.8, hoping 2.8 would be whe stable version like 2.7 was, but unfortunately everything turned out to be a complete mess, I committed a lot of unprofessional mistakes trying to solve everything out and I kept missing a lot of important things while doing it, which not only gave me a really big pain in the ass but most importantly to you had to install update after update.
Nevertheless I am really happy on how Notifier code looks (not really now since it has a BUNCH of temporary code to fix the current issues), comparing to 2.7.x it is what I wanted it to be, more readable, reliable and the simplest usage possible. It's not the first time I have done all these mistakes with Notifier, and when this happened I promised it would be the last time, which I have failed.
But now that all the mess is done I can only say I am really sorry for all my mistakes and promise once again that I will avoid anything like this in future updates.

    - The ultimate fix:
Tomorrow I will release ONE last update for Notifier, I don't care if I even have to delay the release to work and test it better, but I will guarantee this update will clean all this mess and bring the stable version once again, but though there will be a little pain to it still. :(

Here is what is planned for v2.10 update:
    • Clean all the temporary code for versions under v2.9.2
    • Add a new setting to remove Notifier's default chat icon
    • Add a new setting to remove the new Player Names Colors system. (With this you will be able color player names freely once again)
    • Add a few more requested countries to the database
    • Fix Configuration System
    • Re-adjust Players List and Admins List code (Admins List at this point may be broken for some of you)
The update will require a configuration reset for everyone, as I will check the configuration section by section, value by value, and probably re-work a few things to make sure everything works as it should. But don't worry! I will make it so it saves your current adverts, so no, you will not have to write it all again.

I know this sucks ballz, but I only ask for one last update. :|

    - My plans:
The worst part of all this for me is that I planned to work on Notifier, OverThrone, Rank-ME and Death Notes updates since I'm on vacation until the end of this week, and all this mess took me a lot of time which I may not be able to work on all of them as I intended. But I still I use the small time I have to get back on OverThrone and start implanting all the new systems.

    ---------------------------------

Once again I am really sorry for my stupidity,
    Best regards to all.
