How to set up the command / HELP?

 

notifier is broken for me. none of the commands work, they don't get the join message, and no adverts.
when a player joins, this message goes on in the console:

when I try doing 'oxide.reload Notifier' I get this message in console.

Read the Usage Notes in the plugin overview, but take in mind Notifier has it's own help command (/notifier help), and each description line is available in the Messages section in the config file.

When using the oxide.reload command you must type the exact name of the plugin file, in case of Notifier its everything lowercased: oxide.reload notifier
And though a reload should fix that error

Try to write the command down in the server.cfg under the cfg folder of your server, something like server.ip yourserverip, remember that is just the IP and not the port.

 

Hi I am having problem, plugin doesnt show icon from the profile ID As you can see in my config, its enabled and the steamid is correct, but still it shows "?" icon . Any help?

 

You need to fix the motd prefix to the
"MOTD PREFIX": "<white>[<end> <yellow>MOTD<end> <white>]<end>",
as the way you done it is wrong

 

Probably im blind or tired or don´t know bu I see that I have the same as you posted, so whast bad on it?

 

You need to change it to "MOTD PREFIX": "[ <yellow>MOTD<end> ]",

But the way you have it should not effect the icon image you been having.

If it does not you could delete the config let it make a new one see if that fixes it

 

Deleting the config file will not fix the icon issue at all, sometimes theres a few issues that might be some sort of connection issue with steam that does get the icon from the profile you have set on the config, and you cannot really fix it, if you try to restart your game and reconnect to the server, or perhaps even try to restart your steam may fix the issue. Also, this doesn't mean that happens to all the players, as it may not work to you it may be working for other players.

P.S: I forgot to mention that another thing that causes the issue is when you have your Steam Friends set to Offline.

 

I have never had this problem but I always try to trouble shoot possible things that can cause it first if that did not work then I would of tried something else. It could also be some setting on your steam account not letting the icon be seen you never know

Sure, I just didn't want people to delete their configs over this, its totally worthless, the config only holds the Steam Profile for the icon in this case.

The reason a removed this feature a few updates ago was because people rather think that this common issue is a issue coming from the plugin, which is not and I cannot work around this, and I re-added because a lot also requested back, but this time I made it default so most of the people don't complaint about it.

Well I just deleted everything and I will start with this Mod, seems my server likes to go invisible from the server list. I will get back to you ASAP when I see something

Looks like it is working, but nothing is posting, I am green when it comes to these things, it is a repeated statement across all the mods I have attempted to load. So with that said, maybe I failed to hit true where a false is written in the Json, but I have not changed the default Json yet. Thanks in advance for the help

[DOUBLEPOST=1454408354][/DOUBLEPOST]Sorry for all the endless posts, but yes it was "Info Panel" after I removed it and reinstalled Notifier, Boom it all worked again. I really like the info panel too. Perhaps in future changes you might maybe add or combine those features into your Mod? Compass, red and green light for the chopper and Plane, the x and Y cords location and so on.
