ok Minstrel works again as stand alone. it does not work with NPC yet for some reason /npc minstrel memory for example.

That's an NPC bug, you'll need to find the reference in the NPC plugin to:

Code:

fx/gestures/guitarpluck.prefab

and change to:

Code:

assets/bundled/prefabs/fx/gestures/guitarpluck.prefab

as per the earlier page of this thread.

 

Minstrel does not seem to find the song files anymore.

 

yes I have the HumanNPC change listed above and I am using the version LaserHydra posted above

 

does anyone else have this working? it does not seem to play with the latest rust update. trying to use it standalone and with HumanNPC.

It seems the plugin can not play the songs itself, but it works with NPC now.

This is my problem. It spams this through my console depending on song length. Ingame says its playing, list is populating with songs and everything is placed in proper locations as far as I know. Any help?

I downloaded ver 0.0.8 (why isn't this the ver listed on the Overview page?) and it doesn't work for me either, including when I use /ms chat commands to play it myself.

Hm i think I don't understand it.
I took your ms-memory, put it in the data folder
then i used the /ms_rel and so on and it says that the song is loaded.

If I know use /ms it does nothing.

But what bothers me more:
When is use
/npc minstrel ms-memory

it's also not doing anything

 

Plugins seen to load, make stuff right but ...

/ms_list show my song with time (60 sec)

When try to load music telling me: XXX playing

But no sound
