  3. I would like a way to turn off the notifications for meteors fallings, for more immersive gameplay.

  4. Anyone know how which the radius so that the meteor fall in ALL the map?
     
  5. The map is approximately 5500 or so meters. What I did is I set the regional locations that came default with the plugin at 2500 and the rad town/more specific locations to 1000. That gave me a good mixture between meteors that fall randomly around a whole region and meteors that fall within 1000 meters of a hot spot. If you want completely random I'd suggest setting the distance for all to 2500+. You could do like... 4000 but then half the meteors will fall outside of areas that players can reach.

    Easiest way to measure meters is to use the beacon and measure you distance from one point to one of your stakes.... to give you a better idea of the distances.
     
  6. I am organizing an event that meteors have to fall all over the map causing damage to structures. I left the config so, I believe that is enough.

    ps: during the event meteors will fall every 2 minutes.

  7. I think diemensland is 8500x8500, depending where those drop spots are they could be outside the boundary of the map with that wide of a drop radius.
     
  8. What I just started doing today is I copied 2 sets of the rad town coordinates, 4 sets of the regional coordinates.... then renamed them by adding "2, 3, 4, etc" depending on which set it is. Then I gave them different ranges..... this way you can reuse the coordinates with different ranges. Adds more variation
     
  9. Occasionally the meteors hit an object and are stuck in mid-air mode..... appearing as mid-air meteors on the ground but no heat damage, they take forever to despawn, and no loot drops. Seems to happen the most when they land on a foundation, storage container, or vehicle frame.
     
  10. Can you add a permission to this, right now you can only use it if you are on the autoexec.cfg, I added players to the oxide admin group but that doesn't help.
     
  11. Hey I absolutely love this plugin, however is there any way you could add "spawntimeinseconds true/false" so we can have true meteor shows (aka being able to have meteors spawn every 10 seconds). Also would love a way to turn off the notifications.
     
  12. @Smeag i need help im a totally noob in such things i love your plugin and seen it on other servers . So i decided to start a own Server but i have a problem, No Plugin started i put the plugins in Oxide -> Plugins ... They already installed Data -> MeteorFalls , MeteorItems or so xDDD. But the plugins don't work . Must i write in autoexec.cfg or so ? Help please !
     
  13. What about language files to meteorfallsites? It will be great if when player set another language - he will see other lang file. Example: My server is russian, but other languge players like it and want see where meteor is fall. BUT! I can write on meteorfallsite file only on one language.
     
  14. you could always add the 2nd most common language spoken on your server to the fallsite titles. So basically "Falling in Sand Desert : Different language here"

    How to make less than 38 objects dropping in the meteo? Putting in ID 0 or?
    I think if i put in id 0 it can sometimes drop nothing, or?

    I have installed Meteor on my server and the /throwmeteor <player> command works, but when the meteor falls it immediately explodes and there is no loot at all. This is with unchanged (default) settings. Changing settings like setmeteorsheatduration etc. does not seem to make any difference. Any idea's what causes this behaviour?

  18. throwing a meteors does not drop stuff no its only for fun use really only the set location on map will drop
     
  19. /throwmeteor locationID will throw the real ones at one of the pre-determined locations. If you open the location data file, the ID's are determined by what order the locations are in. The first locations is location ID 0. So you count from 0 on up. However you are correct that simply /throwmeteor or /throwmeteor playername will not spawn a real meteor. Just /throwmeteor locationID.
