Is it set to be complex mode without having the split images in the map32x32 folder? In that case turn it off with /map mode false
You can also try toggling the minimap with /map minimap false and then /map minimap true
Lastly you can also try to just reload the images with /map images just to force it to read the map.jpg again.

 

actually the complex mode now works, but i dont like it too much. i have tried the /map minimap true and false and the /map images aswell, but both are not working. any other advise?

 

Oh I know it works, we're using it ourselves with just a bit of "zooming out" applied. I was thinking if you haven't split the image for complex mode you'd want to run without it. Which means you'd need to make sure it was toggled off.

Is anyone with Streamline Servers and running the latest version of LustyMap? the instructions say to copy the LustyMap folder into the data section of Oxide but you can't do this with Streamline.

I created the folder in Streamline myself then one by one uploaded each icon picture and the map.jpg, when I went to upload the Mapsplitter it said I was not allowed.

I tried loading the plugin to see if it would work but of course I just got the black box but not even with the icons showing.

I tried updating Oxide and unloading/loading Lustymap a couple of times including removing it from my folders.

Can anyone adnise me how to overcome this issue?

Oh and in my Rustadmin panel it comes up with 119 lines saying for example

We used to host with Streamline, I highly recommend you connect with a proper FTP tool rather than use their web interface. It'll still be weird connection-wise but you can queue up what you want.

As for what to upload, you don't need to upload the MapSplitter.exe. That is only for you if you want to use the complex mode of the minimap.

Start by replacing the map.jpg with your map file and making sure that it's called map.jpg. If you want to use complex mode this is when you run MapSplitter.exe, after it's finished remove it from the folder. Then upload the entire directory LustyMap to the oxide/data folder on the FTP. Then reload the plugin.

 

....... My players are saying it works even though it says the file wasn't transferred, sorry for this post.

I took your advise and downloaded an FTP (FileZilla) it now loads everything except the map.jpg

I used my map and renamed it map.jpg and even map.jpg. just in case because that is how you have it in your post, both ways it comes back saying that "1 file could not be transferred"

Any ideas?

The map.jpg file isn't being uploaded successfully to the server, is that what you're saying? Or is it just not loading in-game?
If it isn't uploading to the FTP, might I inquire as to how large it is? It might be too big for Streamline to allow you to transfer it. (As in how many MB it is.)

 

What is the exact command to load this plugin? I see the minimap and the large map but they are all black. I have followed the overview and used your tool to split my map and have uploaded everything to its correct location. I see this in console as well....

This just blew my mind. Adding the custom image allows me to add a dollar sign image on my server's shop, people haven't asked where and how to find it once every since. Kayzor, I love you.

 

after i inplemented this plugin and i chatting in chat and press enter my rust game goes to inventory somehow and if i remove this plugin rust works fine any idea's?

 

using the latest update, can't close the map after typing /map
[DOUBLEPOST=1461623003][/DOUBLEPOST]player location icon is stuck on my screen without the map, when i reconnect

 

/map, I cannot close the map, I dont see any bottons.

Hello, would be great if this map in-game would be kinda similiar to RUST.IO if youre an admin (authlvl2) - on rust.io map you can see buildings, players where they are ect... Would be good if lustymap would check on player if he is authlvl2 (or 1) and if yes then it would show on map and minimap locations of other players Would be cool to have this Another thing is if it could support somehow friends and rust.io clans so you could see on map in-game your friends or clan members
