Inventory Guardian

I just installed this and have been testing the last 15 minutes and cant seem to get the inventory to actually save. It says it is saving but when i die (even with restoreupondeath enabled it doesn't restore anything. Also when forcing a ig.save all or username and ig.restore username it says there is no inventory saved for that user. I am server owner as authlevel and I also lowered authlevel to 1 as a test. Not sure what I am doing wrong : /

Still having this same issue. I was working on other stuff so I let it kind of hang for awhile but I just deleted all, downloaded, installed, deleted config (to be triple sure) reloaded. Same issues... Saveall says "Player 'x' inventory has been saved! however on restore or restoreall I get "Player 'x' don't have any saved inventory, so cannot be restored!"

I've done a lot of these plugins over the last week or so and this one is kicking my butt.

Looking at the data file it appears nothing is being saved.

Also I tried as owner, admin, and as a stripped basic player

 

Ya just tried right now to validate. It just doesn't write data...

I should have tried this earlier! I installed the previous version and it seems to work perfectly fine. Hopefully this helps in your troubleshooting!

 

its a LUA file? shouldnt it be json?

 

I'm pretty sure it could be .lua. I've seen other plugins that use it.

 

No config loads.

 

I'm not sure if I'm missing this or not but is there a way to make this not only for admins and mods but say VIP as well like a permission for the group vip or gold as I have setup different permissions for different levels of donations (Till I figure out the Donation Claim plugin)

 

Yeah i know but there is no config, i thought maybe cause it wasnt a json file.

And i also am wanting to set this for a vip rank

 

For some reason i can't save my inventory, every time it says that it was saved successfuly, but its not. Clen install (even clean windows install)
