i am confused. Is this up and running? I cant seem to fix my server Lootconfig.
Is this being fixed? Or is there something i can do to make it work again.

You have to change the loot config file from scratch. You can't use an old one, just spent another 40minutes fine tweaking the new config its spit out.
Also when you put 10x resources you get 10x engines when they drop etc, which is utterly stupid.
There needs to be one for resources, one for vehicle parts and one for detonator caps. -

I'm sorry but sadly Im a newB in that coder language..
What excactly do I have to change, when the drill is producing like x1 and the Multiplier is set to 4?
How can I change some specific item drops. Like stone drops 4-6 times for me & the wood logs give like 18-22
Where or what(wich text line/command) do I have to change?
And what do I have to do when I want to change the stacksize of for eg only the Sasquach pelt & the Exploding Rock drops(Titranium, Mondinium ores)?

I know that the GlobalStackSizeMultiplier means, everything is droping like "X"-times and the StackSize how much items it drops & RandomVariance how much + items youll randomly get -
Wolf. IS there a way to increase detonator cap quantity per drop and also increase crate drop rate? (town crates)

my server is x10
but i want to change the orange drop to 1 and still have the other thing x10 , because its lagging the server
how can i do this ? -
@MilanMonster1 you have two options.
Use the GlobalMultiplier and let it apply your x10 against ALL things.
OR
Edit the LootConfig.json file in the config folder, and change each entry that you want multiplied to be multiplied x10. -

first connect to filezilla,
then go to this path: /Servername/oxide/config
next go to the file LootConfig.json and open it with notepad c++.
Then at the top off the file you will see this line "GlobalStackSizeMultiplier": 1.0,
Change the 1.0 to 3.0 or whatever u like to multiplie the loot. :"GlobalStackSizeMultiplier": 3.0,
Next go in the server and type /reload LootConfig.
And ur doneI hope this is what u mean

was does multiplying the loot do exactly? theres no way to increase drop rate of say det caps and car parts in crates?

the multiplying setting is changing all the loot's to x3 or more whatever you want
. to change the rate on the det caps go to the LootConfig.json open it again and press ctrl+f to search. type in the search bar DetonatorCap you will see a code like this:

Change the Key value to something you like, that is the drop rate off the itemi hope heheh

Hi this plugin is working. However every time you reload the Addon it over-writes the config file you edited and starts it from scratch. This is obviously done so as if any new items are introduced with new server versions they are included by default in to the config..
The actual flexibility of increasing drop chances etc is fab, but the needing new config files, especially when no new items are introduced is annoying as hell, flexible but hell)
PS. Tried to Read Only the config file, plugin throws a bitch fit! Not a good idea
TEMP WORK AROUND
Change your LootConfig.json backup file to have these Details:
Code:"Version": 23, "VersionConfig": 3,
It's a temporary fix for a lot of people.
IMPORTANT: Keep a backup of your "LootConfig.json" because for some reason when the plugin creates a new one and renames the existing one to LootConfig.json.old it removes a crapload of code from it (becomes a smaller file size and items such as Det Cap are removed). Just found that out the hard way!
If you're dedicated copy your tweaked LootConfig.json on to your desktop, If you're shared keep a copy of it on your desktop and copy + paste to the online editor // upload via FTP.
PS: Did anyone else notice the new config file is setting 255 of items to drop? Someone just got 255 paint from one boxLast edited by a moderator: Jan 11, 2016 -
Hate to pester. Looking to see if anyone has a .json file premade for a server x3 gather-able loot. like Stone , wood and what nots. sorry to pester.

is there a chance to become it work on a Linux system with like .py ending? Cuz now it's ofc a .cs file...

on every protocol version change it will be created an backup of your current config and fresh values will be exported from the game, so that you can compare the changes, merge them and reapply your config...(best is to use WinMerge or some other diff tool to compare these two files)
if you don't care about new or changed loot you can simply recover the LootConfig.json.old to LootConfig.json and update the "Version" to the latest one and you are done...

Also the stack of 255 for loads of items on plugin config default is really weird. -
