This has been this way for the last 2 updates, and all oxide updates, including today's oxide update.
I keep oxide up to date when I get the changlog email.

Forgive for my English -
At a total loss of how this works. Added it to my server however I guess something is missing. I'm trying to paste a file from Fortify and the error msg is that I do not have permission ( I'm the owner / admin on the server ) any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

There are no generated config files. The point is that I have 3 large base files that will not completely paste. The small bases paste fine.
Deleting the big bases would get rid of the error, but I would lose the bases. That is not solving the problem.
But just to test, I will go ahead and remove the plugin file, re download it, and edit this post with the results.
EDIT:
So NO, it is not solved. Base still will not completely paste.
As you can see in link below, it isn't pasting all the foundations, it's pasting cupboards without the room they are in, and of course the base crumbles, and most of the upper back parts are not pasting at all. NOTE: I copied from the side that is pasting, but even that side is not complete.
The file is 100% in tact and I verified in fortify.
Also my other 25x25 base with the same results.

Help me please, is it any chance to paste buildings, gates etc. all together, but not trees? If I set deployables off trees don't place, but walls also don't place, but I need walls

Apologies if this has been answered before... I am building a 'hotel' and would like to copy a floor, to then paste a few levels one on top of the other. Is this possible, please and what would the syntax be if it is? Thanks in advance...

Any update on the pasting of large buildings?
-
This is the third Rust update that it don't work, and at least ten Oxide updates.
I'm bummed, because Prod and Remover got fixed instantly, but this is somehow not important. I literally spent 3 weeks of all night building sessions building the base, and have spent about the same amount of time over the last 6 months improving it. Roughly 330 hours total. Compound that by all the other people that built large bases and I'd say it could be a little important.
Of course the plugin itself hasn't changed. Something in Rust or Oxide changed to make it no longer work. I don't even know where to begin to look to try to fix the problem. Since there is no config for this plugin, all we have is the plugin file itself, or the code in Oxide. I would suspect the problem to be in Oxide, but where (what file) to look?
Welp, I'm hoping later is meaning sometime soon, lol. -
can you guys give me a big building paste? because i tried with couple of my arenas, i had 0 problems.
thought it was fixed (sometimes rust updates fixes things (or most likely breaks things ^^)) -
EDIT:
I was able to upload a smaller file size older version of the base. Most of the file size of the 26 mb version is sign artist data. Which I don't understand why copy/paste uses the actual image data, since it also references the .db file on the server for the image data, but thats another story.Last edited by a moderator: Oct 24, 2016 -
Also it would be gone after a wipe -
Hi,
Does it work after a wipe, for example I want to copy a big building, and paste it after the map wipes.
Thanks
Tim -
Apparently the /copy command doesn't copy deployables at all after this wipe. I even tried the deployables true switch.
How are there no posts for this? Maybe next wipe when people try to paste things they copied this wipe they'll notice it?
Also smaller older copies still paste doors and stuff, but any new copies are incomplete. It still won't paste complete ultra large bases. -
Yes, i've tried to copy a buidling with doors and large boxes inside. It copies well the building but no doors and items. -

Its about a simple 2 story house on the top of a mountain. Contains 2 Shelves and 4 Boxes that are full of large presents.
I did /copy "Reward House" mechanics proximity radius 50 and in rcon i got that error.
Thanks,
