Copy Paste

probably copied from the air, try using: autoheight true, or height XXXX, to adjust the height.
keep doing: /paste XXX height XX, /undo, /paste XX height XXX, /undo, until you find the correct position ^^

Other guys...I was able to paste the charcoal factory after reloading the plug - I'll try the other two shortly.

 

Use the "Height" option to raise them.... When I paste something and it shows up underground, I just type /undo, and then I type /paste name height 1

 

so how far are you from it @pfergus ?

 

i copy the building and ... it works perfect
after i , tryed to copy again its was Oke but when i did /paste building it says its empty?

 

Very close, within the month. It would be nice if the mod allowed regular users to paste but there is a cool down or something to prevent them from cluttering the whole server.

 

I believe there are permissions to allow players to copy&paste or one or the other. I was actually contemplating an idea that would allow the player to click a UI button that pastes the "purchased" structure where they are standing. So the user wouldn't need permissions and instead the code would execute the paste on their behalf.. if that makes sense. A catalog of structures so to speak. Not sure you necessarily care but it seemed relevant.

Here... I had to remove projectiles. Otherwise this seems to work fine.

 

hey your copypaste.cs works but i get this error "File is empty" if i use /paste blablabla and yeah my file really exists....

 

well rust just did an update adding a lvl system now a majority of my mods are not working is there any fix for the copy/paste mod?

see im not getting that i backed up my copy paste files as well but i cant load my backup and the permissions dont seem to be working for certain mods even if your an admin

 

I've seen file empty before, when I did BIG files. It is most likely not related to this update it could just be a corrupt paste file. I know that isn't the news you want to hear... Do you have any backups?

 

its not corrupt my copy paste was working properly before they update now my info panel rewarding craft and copy paste have no solid affect only one seems to still be working is night lantern and death notes
