Sets owners of houses when someone builds a house part

  1. juergen number two. I downloaded fresh version, upload, shutdown the server and start again. Plugin CAN'T load due to error same has the @ JOK3
     
  2. Have you seen the second and last lines of the description ?
    then go in oxide/data/ and delete BuildingOwners.json
    If you don't do that the same error as before will happen.
     
  3. Command /changeowner doesn't print anything on chat. Logs are clear.

    I explain step by step what I have done:

    Code:
    1. Download newest Version
    2. Shut down Server
    3. with FTP i deleted following Files on my Server:
    /Release/server/config/BuildingOwners.json
    /Release/server/data/BuildingOwners.json
    /Release/server/plugins/BuildingOwners.lua
    4. copy via FTP the New BuildingOwners.lua to /Release/server/plugins/
    5. close FTP
    6. Restart Server
    7. have Fun
    
    In Renebs Description he only deletes the json File in data Subdirectory,
    but i thought for a clean Start it is better to delete all Buildingowners Files.

    I testet all Plugins who need Buildingowners. Like /prod , /remove , /changeowner
    all works without any Errors.
     
  5. Fuck, you're really much stupid? I sayd that i don't delete data file of buildingowners? NO.
    Plugin start successfully after 5 restarts and updates, on clear map save owner properly and remove & prod works great. Thx Reneb!
    But.. do this work on server, who has large map and buildings? I seen that players need to set owners by type in chat command.
    But.. this command don't print anything on chat. Standing on foundation|out of, write right nickname and wrong - nothing hapenned:(

  10. Admin need do this to every joined old player? This is suck way, players can do this.
    But this need to some add check: players can change first time owner, when build hasn't it (for example after updating server with old map), then they can change owner even if they are owners of house where standind. To prevent changing owners of buildings belongs other players:)

  11. Yes, but if a server restarts, and the plugin bugs out, someone could be the 1st on the server, and run around and claim everyones houses. Too abusable by players.

I just did a client update, and am experiencing lag I didn't have before. maybe it's the update, not the plugin?[DOUBLEPOST=1414942895][/DOUBLEPOST]He could possibly make it so that players can only use /changeowner once..... But the issue here is, those who have multiple layers to their house wouldn't be able to claim the whole thing?
     
  14. one of a few things it could be but its client side since you log-out then in and it clears it for a few minutes.
     
  15. New version out oxides , and / remove works only on new buildings.
    I have already used /Changeowner name , and dont work.
    And /Changeowner dont work.

  17. Strange ... for me it is the latest version OXIDE the problems described above .
    I have my server then to the previous version OXIDE reset and everything works fine .
    I have the server stopped , and the new version installed oxides .. or should I put the server completely new to an oxide update oO ?

  18. When a new Oxide build is added it means Oxide has been updated to be able to run on the updated server files, so you will have to update the server first before putting the new Oxide files into the folder.
     
  19. To work properly with remove, should I be setting it to 1 or 2?
