Restart the server see if that works if not pm me your skype info

Thank you for Great Plugin.
i have small Q,
i don't have any problem with adding groups, i can add it and change the setting without any problem.
but with default group "Player" i want to edit the colors and formatting.
but all my changes not effected ?!
and when i re-open the config file again i see my last change but it's not effected?
also i try oxide.reload BetterChat
can you plz help me.
Thanks alot. -
I try to make the removal of TAG: "Player" give reload the plugin however continues to tag WHAT have to do to remove?
-
I used that .json but edited it to my liking but when I am admin I also get the "default" Title. e.x: [Noob] [Admin] NAME: TEXT
How do I take out, in this case [Noob], when I am admin? -
Remove the title [Noob] from your groups file
-
But I need that title for default players
-
You need to remove yourself from the player group that is on your user found in oxide.users.data file with the rcon command
-
My name appears as [Admin] [Player] [Player] Kapppasaurus
How would I fix it so the two player tages don't show?
How can I remove the tag from player?
Also how do I remove the player tag if I want to?
I need to stay in the player group most likely, so I get the basic permissions I granted to them with out separately having to grant them to owner/admin groups.Last edited by a moderator: May 3, 2016 -
i literally just asked that above. im pretty sure admin group inherits previous permissions too.

That didn't work, I still have 1 player. I removed my self from the player group and I still have one player. Then I tried /chat group set player HideIfNotHighestPriority true, and it came back saying it was set to true. Currently I have my admin setup as 0 and my player as 2 if I do add an owner group. It still shows the player tag, even if i restart the server or re-log.

That is my permission file, I don't have the groups in it like some other people.Last edited by a moderator: May 3, 2016 -
The groups file is in oxide/data/betterchat/groups.json I think
-
I'm aware. I figured it out. I was in both Admin and Owner, for some reason my default player tag for owner was [Player]
-
I can create groups from the console, How can I change the titles of each rank? I get the same error all the time.
[Oxide] 19:15 [Error] Failed to initialize plugin 'BetterChat v4.0.2' (ArgumentE
xception: Could not cast or convert from System.String to Oxide.Plugins.BetterCh
at+TitleSettings.) -
/chat group set "name" Title [title] doesn't work?
-
Thank you

And how I can change the color?
Okey, I found it, TitleColor. Thank you so much for everything.Last edited by a moderator: May 3, 2016 -
What's your server called?
-
It is a project still under construction.
[DOUBLEPOST=1462300224][/DOUBLEPOST]One more question, How can I set a default group? -
Hello.
I have 5 groups: player (0), vip (1), premium (2), moderator (3), admin (4).
I'm in VIP and ADMIN groups.
How to make sure that I stayed VIP prefix and appeared red admin's nickname color?
P.S.
VIP: [VIP] prefix, chat color - standart, nickname color - standart
ADMIN: without prefix, chat color - standart, nickname color - red
Sorry for bad English.
Thank You!@ -
As an admin you do not need to be in the vip group you only need to be in the admin group only
