First off just like to say thank you for this amazing plugin....
i have 1 small issue and thats the Priority settings for each group, ive got 8 groups do i need to set all the Priorities different ie
rookie 1 active 2 and so on til admin 8

Seems admin is forced to "PLAYER" with stock colours, until you create an ADMIN group and assign it.

 

Hello. How can i link BetterChat usergroup with Oxide user group?
So when i add player with usergroup add -name- -groupname- he will auto added to linked BetterChat group?

 

how about timestamps?

 

you have to add admin group, or it sets you to player (even though no player group changes affect you)

also i can't 1 character on it's own, like "a"

 

Is there some instructions on the Better Chat Group Manager, were to install where it writes files etc.. or did I miss a post on how to use?

Ummm no. it just says:

Easily edit your oxide/data/BetterChat/Groups file using the BetterChat Group Manager: download,

it does not tell you where to install or anything ... and im not talking about the plugin, Im talking about the Better Chat Group Manager

 

If you mean the plugin you put that in your plugin folder same as your other plugins the rest is explained in the overview and also other posts as well

Rust:IO Clans now replaced the BetterChat Tags, how do I fix it?
Like the admin dont got his [ADMIN] tag anymore, Clans are blocking the plugin it seems like.

 

How can I set a color of a tag in in-game chat?

Eg: /chat group set Owner -- color

 

All group settings are now in the data/betterchat folder you will see a groups.json file in there it will have the player group in there as default if you want more groups see the overview for the commands on how to add more groups if you are not sure how I will upload my groups file then you can edit it with notepad++ to the way you want it

small problem with the creation and deletion of group establishment group that does everything one sense asking anything and not delete what?

 

I used the tool, i edited the ranks and added new, i restarted the plugin and nothing is working. it wont change the color or add a tag

 

I still am lost... How does this work with Player Rankings Player Rankings for Rust | Oxide I'm 800 hours in and it still says Player next to Admin.. if I load the "older" Better chat it works fine but with out all the better colors

 

in your oxide/data/betterchat folder there is a file called groups.json if you tell me all the groups you have I will make it for you

You already have it made I did fix the priority for the groups, some were wrong as to the player and admin title showing on you check, your oxide.users.data file, open it with notepad++ you should find you are in the player and admin group remove yourself from the player group then relog if in the game and reload better chat plugin after you upload this file
