Hi my friends. We have some problem can u help us ? can u add personal messages to a plug-in. If to put this plug-in http://oxidemod.org/plugins/private-messaging.659/ then the ignore list doesn't work but if to deliver this pug-in this ignore list http://oxidemod.org/plugins/ignore-api.1054/ that he clashet with your ignore list and incorrectly works. No he doesn`t work ); Can u help us guys (;

 

hey so im having an issue where i made it so it says im owner when i talk and i removed myself from admin showing up. but whenever i log out and come back admin comes back to my name so Admin owner thebutcher. and i keep removing it when i log in but it never saves.

 

ok so i just quickscanned through some of these, im having a bit of a problem with better chat. it affects only me, not my players. im the 0wner of my server, anyway whats happening is as soon as i install better chat, when i try to chat, theres nothing, like my profile pic shows but thats it, and it doesnt affect the other non owner players on my server. any ideas? only if its just plain chatting. if i use any command such as /reload, it works fine and the commands go through. just not basic chatting.

how can i remove someone from a group? everytime i do it they relog and they are in the group again

 

Is it possible to list all people that has been muted?

Also i might have found a bug, when someone types just one character in the chat it doesn't display in the game chat, but it does display on the RustIO chat.

What groups are you in?
Are there any errors in the console or logfiles?

That is propably oxide adding you to the admin group.

If you are removing them from the default group, oxide will currently automaticly re-add them on connect.

That is because of the minimal char count antispam feature in BetterChat. You can change it in the config.
RustIO handles the chat differently.

 

i tried completely removing the plugin and readding it, (i removed the json file, the cs file and the folder in data) and reinstalled it but the same thing happens. I just reinstalled it again but to no avail. i was able to confirm with the only other admin that it is happening for him also. seems to be only us with the ownerid's. i've attached my current json file and a screenshot to this message.

Also, this is the log from my rcon after reloading plugins (no message about the plugin failingappears to workfine other than my issue), it shows me speaking in my log, but it doesnt show in game as you can see in the screen shot:

I also forgot to mention that yesterday i removed both plugins, reinstalled oxide, and then added better chat first, (still had problem) and then player challenges, (still had problem) and then i tried the same thing with Just player challenges, and then adding the better chat last.

Your issue is that you have so many tags as you can see in your log. Rust can not handle that and displayes an empty message. I recommend either removing yourself from some or most of the groups you are in, or setting Title -> HideIfNotHighestPriority to true in those groups. (Make sure you respect the priorities). If you don't need them to show at all (Also not on other players) You can just set Title -> Hidden to true.

 

In the muteglobal option i can set privileges to only Admins write ?

how to remove Bandit, Neutral and Hero

 

With the latest oxide update this message is gone but clan tag and group color+tag still dont work in Hurtworld, in Rust its all fine.

 

I made Owner, Admin, and Mod groups, but everytime I log into my server it puts me into the default group, Owner group, and Admin group. I will remove myself from all of them, and it still puts me back into those groups when i log in and out of the server. My friends who join are also getting placed into those groups. Some advice on how to fix this issue would be greatly appreciated.

 

Steel not showing Clan Tag, don`t know what to do. Anybody know what is my problem?

 

Make sure you reload the plugin after uploading this and as I dont know if you are running the latest plugin but if you are this will work if it does not then please update your plugin and deleting the config first might help if not the default config
