Solved Where are bans stored?

  1. Hello again guys,

    just a few questions:

1 - Why dont hurtworld save the admins every restart?
2 - An admin banned a guy (by mistake) now every restart i need to unban manually because it saves the ban and not the unban... where's the logic?
3 - Why i cant unban via the server console but i can unban via the game console?

PS: i use rcon unban STEAMID REASON (game console) and for server console i use ban STEAMID REASON on the host script and it doesnt work because it says he cant find the player

  2. Do you have access to where your server is installed?
    1. The server is booting with the addadmin 'steamid' argument appended to the end?
    2. Bans are saved in the root directory of Hurtworld in the file banlist.txt. I would check that file to see what's being saved. I am able to issues kicks/bans through the oxide console without any issues. I recommend typing their entire SteamID though, it doesn't always work otherwise.

P.S. Unlike kicking, there is no reason argument for banning, issue the ban like this: ban SteamID

  3. Thanks for the info i will delete the user from the banlist.txt and see what happens :)

  4. You can use the command unban as well. Just unban SteamID
