Solved Updating server/Oxide through RCON?

    I am not the owner of the server I'm on, but I do admin it. The server owner is otherwise preoccupied so can not update the server, which he has left to the admins. We can update the server itself through RustAdmin

    However, is there a way to have oxide update itself through rcon (RustAdmin)?

    There's no way for the server to update itself; you'd need external tools or scripts. You can use plugins such as Smooth Restarted to handle update checks and restarts, but you'd still need external tools/scripts to do the actual downloading and updating.
