    My server wiped today morning 6 am by it'self someone else have had same kind of issue?

  4. I had the same thing.. maybe its your host.. You are hosting on gameservers.com ? bcs when i had my server hosted on gameservers it was wiping without the -autoupdate command... It's probably caused by them.

    -autoupdate doesn't wipe maps, it updates the server.

    Today's update was not a forced wipe.

    Lederp from the server, one of the only things I can assume that caused this was the tests that you was doing with restarting the server at a certain time? Can you post the oxide logs/server logs around the time it happened so we can see?

  8. Is there any logs prior to this? Perhaps output.txt in the root of the folders?

  10. Odd that is the only log showing, seems as if the server was reverted or something. Was it only the map data that was lost, or did other stuff go missing
     
  11. Mine has done this plently of times, today during the new update it said something like cannot load save 0.sav

    If you have the plugin called autosave or save that you can type a command in game to save i beleive that is a bad plugins, but cannot prove it. When i used that plugin it would just randomly wipe the map and delete the save files in the map folder for the seed and just delete that.

    I think the best bet is to make alot of backups and put your server save interval on 30 seconds

    The Save plugins do not corrupt your saves, they use the same method that Rust uses for saving. Other plugins that manipulate the world or entities could potentially corrupt the save though, but there are no known plugins that do that at this time. More than likely the map is getting bugged from Rust itself, or it just isn't being loaded properly.

    Tips: make sure -load is used in the command-line or startup script. If using the HapisIsland map, also make sure to specify a server.seed, else it creates a new map each time the server is restarted.

    Yup, that looks fine, except all of this is useless as you aren't setting anything with them:

    It's likely what they said, either a crash, or the server was shutdown forcefully while it was saving.

    Yes, if you aren't specifying -load, you aren't loading the save files.

    only thing ive noticed is one time it said the 0.sav couldnt be read or something on those lines, ill check it out now thanks

    It may have changed, but last I saw -load was needed. It doesn't really make sense to have to use it at all though, as it should load by default.
