Reduce rollback lag on server?

    I have my own server which runs good apart from small 'rollback' lags every hour or so.
    Is this a problem rust suffers in general at the moment or can I do something to improve my server performance?

    I am running on a Root-Server 2x 3,4Ghz with 16GB of RAM. Server lags even without players but only from time to time like stated above.

    Does it help if I restart my server everyday? Is there a script that automatically restarts my server and checks for updates every 12hours automatically? (Windows)
