Solved Plugins not working after Rust update (Oxide not installed)

    Picked up rust 3 days ago, got a server up and running, bam update rendered everything useless. After getting it all back up and running. ANOTHER update rendering all my configs and mods useless.

    is this common practice ?

    what do i do now

    Oxide was updated a couple times today for Rust updates that were pushed out to fix a few issues with invisible players and Linux server issues. If you updated your Rust server but didn't re-install Oxide, that would be why your plugins are not working, as Oxide is a mod.

    Oxide has been updated for the latest Rust update for a few hours now.

    Always, just make sure to make sure Oxide is updated for it already by following the Release Changelog thread.

    i just updated oxide.... no plugins are working still, just did it 5 minutes ago

    Check the oxide.version command. If it doesn't work, Oxide is not installed. Otherwise, check your oxide/logs for errors.

    i know its intalled. i overwrite with ftp.. and my logs aren't showing anything since before the update. its just not seeing/starting oxide

    Oxide will always start if it is installed. If you updated Rust but didn't re-install Oxide entirely, it isn't installed. You can verify using the oxide.version command like I mentioned.
