Solved Logging in as admin with new Rust

I cant log in from F1
says unknown command

is this part of the update fixes needed or am i doing something wrong

 

What are you typing in?

 

recon.login "passwordgoeshere"
i use with the "
which worked before
but even recon.login passwordgoeshere

doesnt work
and even rusty and recon32 admins tools return same
unknown command

 

Just f1 and then recon.login alone with nothing else?[DOUBLEPOST=1412553844][/DOUBLEPOST]is there a list of new commands?[DOUBLEPOST=1412553901][/DOUBLEPOST]still says invalid command when I F1 and type recon.login[DOUBLEPOST=1412554076][/DOUBLEPOST]also something must be wrong if i die everytime i log out even if i log right back in

 

The command is rcon.login, not recon

 

im using rcon.password "passwordgoeshere"

then rcon.login "passwordgoeshere"

without ""

 

to be clear thru console on my server
i type rcon.password "password" without the "

then I start up the game, F1 then rcon.login "password"

straight as is from the server
i use clanforge to host
i have asked them also no reply from

i run the other for over a year no problems

 

so how does one log in rusty not work
i mean it logs in a shows player but thats all
I cant log in as admn from that.

rusty logs in shows players but doesnt help me to log in as admin

 

In the Legacy version of Rust you should still be able to use rcon.login password in the ingame console.

It only changed for the new, experimental version of Rust. For the experimental version you connect with Rusty or another RCon in the way you always do it and in that RCon client you use the command ownerid "yoursteamid" this will flag you as server owner and when you get in the game you should have access to the admin commands, no more need to do a rcon.login command.

they didn't really do any commands yet
i believe only useful admin commands are the one to ban/kick and call airdrops.
just give him level 2 XD

so is lvl 2 the owners better then level one? Is mine thehighest level
also how do i remove hi as modorator

level 2 is the owner level, level 1 is the moderator level. I haven't seen a command to remove a person from the moderator/owner list but you can modify the file manually. In your cfg folder you should see 3 files, bans, server and users, it's the users.cfg you need to edit, just remove the lines of the persons you want to remove as owner/moderator.

um. why are all the trees and resources up in the air? something i should do?

 

Something probably went wrong when the map was procedurally generated. I think you might have to delete whatever world file it has and make it create a new one.

Just my thoughts, I could be wrong. Should probably just try restarting the server first
