Solved How do you set up a dev branch server?

    How do you go about setting up a dev branch server?

    I am familiar with setting up normal Rust Experimental servers and have a VPS with one running. I'd like to set up another on the dev branch.

    Do you use a different Steam app ID, or use different parameters in the starter batch file?

    Just add -beta development to your startup parameters after the app_id. Keep in mind that if you plan on using Oxide with it, you'll currently have to patch for it yourself.

    You'd need to contact your host if you don't have access to the command-line.

    -beta development

    We don't release build for the dev branch right now, so you'd have to patch it yourself.
