Solved DDoS detection

If anyone is interested in making a plugin that will let me detect when im being ddosed as opposed to lag I will pay for it.

 

Not going to happen, you are better off going through a host that has ddos protection built in.

 

I am with one just recently had a LOT of crashes first ones seemed to somehow caused by hackers as hackers were online at the time. And was fine after banning them. But lately have been having crashes every 5 mins then it comes good for no apparent reason and stays stable. So I kinda though might have been an attack.
My provider claims ddos protection but i have no idea if its any good

 

Are you sure it's a DDoS, any errors in your log? Because most DDoS attacks lag and 5-10 mins later they crash your server.

 

No im not sure thats why i wanted the plugin to find out. I can't see any real reason for the crashes.

 

Thanks ill do that if it starts crashing again its stable atm. But as I never did anything that should have fixed it I'm wary as to how long it will last lol
