Solved Animals on my server not moving

    Hello!

    I checked the earlier threads about this problem and tried the fixes with the " nav_disable false " etc, but still can't get the animals to move around. They are just standing still and not doing anything.

    Anyone got any idèas what could cause this problem?

    It was working a couple days ago before I wiped my server.

    If you're using a shared host, they're likely forcing nav_disable false. You may want to check with them.

    Same problem but some animals are moving others are just staying on the spot but turning to look at me.. Any help appreciated?

    have lua enabled? remove the lua plugin and the animals move

    Lua does not cause this. If you are installing a different version of protobuf-net.dll it would, which some hosts bundle with it for some reason. Zero to do with Lua or the Lua extension. The logs would show Apex errors form the conflicting protobuf DLL if his was the case.

    Streamline server have the lua addon in their panel, i had it loaded and the animals didn't move, i unloaded it and the animals move

    I feel like you're the same person I explained this to last time. :p

    You need to contact them to have them remove the protobuf-net.dll from that "Lua add-on" option, because that is not even used with that and would be causing the issue you had, not the Lua extension ("Lua add-on") itself.

    hey Wulf,

    I did remove this mod from them and it did resolve the issue.

    I will open a ticket with them to get this resolved.

    Just a quick note Wulf,

    I did manage to get a hold Senior Management at streamline servers and they have removed the DLL file that causes that issue.
    Having the LUA plugin should no longer affect the animals not moving with Streamline Servers.
