Ahh okay. That makes more sense now.
ClanForge likely has an outdated version of the plugin, so the permission maybe different. The old permission for the Lua version was "whitelist", try that.

2.0.1732 is the oxide version I'm running. Is that the latest? I honestly don't know where to check it.

Hey Wulf, I just read fully through the entire comment thread and understand a little better what is happening now. I got my host to update the available plugin AND oxide version, and now I am running into the same problem as serialkiller520 from the previous page (cannot add players that are offline, even with steam64). Have you decided what solution you are going with yet by any chance? or perhaps maybe release the old version that is compatible with latest oxide version? I am running a PvP tournament friday evening and would really like to have this running so I can avoid trolls from joining and messing with the matches.
Hope to hear from you soon.
[DOUBLEPOST=1454013171,1453941514][/DOUBLEPOST]Wulf,
The event I'm hosting is a 16 team community tournament, and was featured on this week's community update. Without a whitelist plugin it will be complete pandemonium. Like I said before, if I can just get the old version so I can whitelist by steamID it would be more than helpful.
Thank you for your help. -

I've been trying to whitelist my server for the past hour and i have no clue what i'm doing, or how to write it. i've been over all of this stuff multiple times.

- Join your server with the plugin removed/unloaded
- Upload/load the plugin
- Run the console command: grant user YourUsername whitelist.allowed
- Done!

This is a freshly started server.
I execute:
> grant user xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx whitelist.allowed
I get this message:
User 'xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx' not found
Is this normal or an issue? -

So I need to have everyone I want to play attempt to connect before I can grant them access?
Trying to figure out the logistics of wrangling up my friends and getting them to connect. -

I installed the WhiteList Rust mode by Wulf.
How now does one whitelist a user that is not an owner or a moderator. I ask because attempting to 'grant user <name> whitelist.allowed' returns "User '<name>' not found."
Am I suppose to add a user someplace first?
