  5. The last one is a .png. I uploaded it specifically to test if format was an issue.

Oops, missed that one. You weren't using the actual image URL there though, but the page itself. Use this instead: http://i.imgur.com/LYpHHoS.png.

  7. Same error

  8. here are some that I see once they load but then after a bit no one can see them. its seems random.

I have been using these for months, I have permissions and I am typing /sil http://i.imgur.com/gARJRKE.png
[DOUBLEPOST=1441497423][/DOUBLEPOST]those are the actual image URL and the ones that worked prior to the Thursday update.

  9. Having the same problem with previously tested images, hosted on my hardware and applied with sil file command. Images work fine, but later disappear. Up to date versions of Oxide and Sign Artist.

  10. where are images stored? there use to be a folder under the server name that stored all the images. that does not seem to exist anymore.

Rust stores sign images under Storage.db now.

  12. I get the same random errors with sign images..

  13. ok, So when I paint a sign by hand it behaves as expected.
I have not looked at this mods' code, does it not do the same? I am trying to understand why this app would work any differently. all it has to do (I think) is:
    1. take path to image and validate
    2. import to the storage.db
    3. link that image (id?) to the sign (id?)

    should now behave the same.

btw: how hard is it to enumerate the images in the DB? in old rust without the storage.db I would download the images from my server and view to see who had what. sometimes change them on the players :)

  14. hey, sorry to bother but the sign plugin isnt working right for us.
it was fine before, but since the last update it is acting up.
we will paste urls on our sign, and it looks great, and then a few mins later the picture disappears.
ive also noticed this with painted signs, i painted floor numbers on each floor, and now its just empty signs too.
if u go to edit the sign, u can still see the picture on the sign in edit mode, but not ingame...
can this be fixed? this is like my favorite plugin!!!

  15. it has nothing to do with the plugin. Its a bug in the game since they putted all the stored images in a db file. Expect a fix when they update again on thursday

  16. i didnt mean the plugin caused it, just didnt know if u knew a way around it.
    thats great news tho thanks!
hopefully he fixes the roofs too! lol
