Remove
-autoupdate -max.fps "125" cd ../
-cfg "serverconfig.cfg" -logFile "output.txt"
-datadir "Save/Serversaving/" -

The -cfg and -datadir do not work or exist with Rust, they were only used in Rust Legacy. I would also remove -autoupdate too. The actual config is under your server/identity/config folder. I think you have a couple other settings wrong too, maybe maxplayers and max.fps, but I'd have to double-check. The "cd ../" at the end shouldn't be there either, at least not in the same line.
I'm not aware of any bugs with Oxide, but if you let us know we can fix them. -
Very good!

i dont know where to post this. But i really like wulfs work here, is there anyway i can donate a few bucks?

Today, I wanted to check if the Rust update had been released to Steam, so I ran my Validate.bat file, which is as follows:
No updates were downloaded by this command, just my current install was validated. But now, Oxide won't load when I boot up my server. Instead, it shows I have 21 sleepers, which I know for a fact is not true... Any ideas? I've scoured the Internet for Rust server update processes/guides, but haven't found any. It appears every server admin just magically knows exactly what to do come update/forced wipe time...Code:@ShutdownOnFailedCommand 1 @NoPromptForPassword 1 login anonymous force_install_dir "D:\rustserver\server\" app_update 258550 validate +quit

Oxide is a mod, so it needs to be installed every time you run validation or any updates on the server. -
Ok, and by "installing" you mean just download the latest ver again, and drap n drop into the appropriate directory?
And since we're on the topic- when performing a Rust update that forces a server wipe, what do I as a server admin (who is running his server at home, not outsourcing) have to do? Other than run the Validate.bat script and reinstall Oxide? Is it all automatic, or do I have to manually delete files? I know this might not necessarily be an Oxide thing, but I just can't find a straight answer anywhere on the Internet, and I've had nothing but good experiences getting help from the Oxide community. -
Wulf Community Admin
You'd need a compatible build, which you can see by checking the Update notes. Updating Oxide is the same as installing it though, just overwrite. -
Is the oxide update out yet? beacuse i cant see it?
-
Wulf Community Admin
No, you can watch the download page to get notifications of updates. -
Hey wolf, is the oxide update coming out anytime soon ?
-
Wulf Community Admin
Yes, you can watch the download page for notifications. -
I always ask the same question but... you know... the last version is from 2 days ago. is that compatible?
-

Oh I see, I've already closed my server... when should I expect the build?
-
Wulf Community Admin
Whenever the build is made by the builder, it'll be available.
