new rust update new oxide needed
-
So I updated to the new rust version today using Steam Update. My server is running fine, but oxide is not loading now.
I only use a few mods, which don't change gameplay so thats ok. People want their livemap back though.
Anyone know if I made a mistake, or do we gotta wait for oxide to release an update?
Thanks. -
Look for either Latest Snapshots or the Downloads page.
-
Perfect, thanks @Wulf once again.

So I updated Rust and Oxide and now my server just sits there and won't open at all. it shows the batchfile stuff and on the next line after all of that it just sits there with a white blinking line.

Make sure you are using the latest release, not the first release. -
Version 2.0.1747 is what I got. I'm new to server running and haven't had to go through an update yet so I'm kinda stumped...

I'd recommend running your server update again and re-installing Oxide. -
How would I go about uninstalling oxide but keeping my plugins with my settings?
-
Wulf Community Admin
Just update the server using SteamCMD, it will uninstall Oxide. Re-installing Oxide will not make you lose any files.
