Your host is providing an outdated Oxide build. You'd need to contact them to correct it.

It's likely you don't have Oxide installed, and may not have permissions with your host to upload all of the files.

  2. I have Permissions.. but is there a way to install it on the server with FTP?

You may have FTP access, but your host may not grant you full permission to replace all files. If your host is Gameservers, I believe this is the case. I'd suggest contacting them for an update.

  4. So I have to wait for them to update things on their end with the new version??
FTP doesnt seem to work when I also tried downloading direct

If they don't provide unrestricted FTP access, then yes, you'd need to contact them and wait for an update.

  6. This has never happened before... Im with gameservers also.. Week after week I have been able to update not long after you release... This is driving me crazy :/

  7. wulf is this still the way things should be done, with the 2 files?

That's a single file; identity/server/cfg/server.cfg. It's formatted the same still.

  11. ok, I just like the look of the 2 file way, the bat file with just a few lines of text, then the other file in cfg folder, where he has things listed in a list.

Right, you'd still need your startup script, but a lot of it can do under server.cfg.

  13. thank you once again for your help.

I much prefer the the 2 file way, I have just updates one of my servers to this method and it works perfectly, it looks so much nicer on the eye and is much easier to configure now.

where would I add a steam command to auto update the server files when they are released, ad you no we had 2 updates yesterday, I have had to update 3 servers 2 times each, so id like to automate the server update and also have it restart, could you advise me on how to auto update the server files and auto restart?

also at the same time is there a way to auto update the main oxide plugin?
[DOUBLEPOST=1450574655,1450462417][/DOUBLEPOST]and heres a tough one, im now running a second sever from my pc, however how can I connect 2 rustys for example as both servers have are running off 127.0.0.1, do I just make server 2 127.0.0.2?

You'd change the server port to make each server unique. Automating updates isn't recommended, as you'll likely end up with a broken server due to an outdated Oxide build.

  15. as always I trust what you tell me so forget the auto updates!, the 2 servers run fine from pc, was just struggling to get 2x rustys logging in to 2x servers, and I actually set up a steam script so I don't have to type login anon and all that stuff, I just click the script and it updates the servers, thank you again wulf your a star.

Just make sure you change the server port in your startup script. +server.port #

Wait a bit longer and it should load, otherwise check your logs for errors.
