Setting up a Rust server with Windows

Just need some clarification on the snapshot naming convention. How can we correlate the oxide patch with rust server version compatibility? Especially since we have to over dlls with oxide patch.

 

Where can I actually see which version oxide I use ?

Yea my server wont work with Oxide build 20 with the latest update to Rust either

Yes, client updates (2) and server update manually. After update and install oxide give error:

I guess they've changed things with EAC according to the error, what you could do is download the patcher and try to patch the original rust server files with the oxide hooks or you'll have to wait until @Wulf is here and able to patch the server files and put the updated snapshot on the repository.

I'd also like to recommend to not update your server until a new snapshots build has been added to the repository, unless you have no other choice and you have to upgrade because of server mismatch errors.

Looks like a forced update...it took our server completely down with no warning. And I got into the server without oxide and the lock bug is definitely back. I am applying the oxide files now. Thanks Wulf.

 

I sent gameservers a link to the file and they installed it for me
