  1. I am sorry but i must be completely thick
you point me to your Data file on page 100 (which I am already using) and then point me to a solution for someone who's plugin is not being recognised ?
Mine has been loaded and is being recognised by the console , but is showing an error in the CFG file (which has not been changed}, and i still do not know what i have to change in the Config cfg file to get it to load admin or autokit "kits" instead of kit 1 and kit 2 for npc's and kit1 and kit3 for admins.

  2. I was pointing you to what I said in that post not the script
Remove the script, config and both files in the data folder then install a fresh version as you have messed up somewhere causing a error and the post on page 100 was what you need to type to add the kits follow it and you wont have any problems

  3. I have just done a complete reinstall of the plugin (as stated) , and added the cfg (as shown) in the data folder which I had to get server host to install (I have only one file in the data folder) this file shows as valid in the json file and is a copy of your cfg with the exception of the removal of the extra options as I only need two groups of players to be able to access kits, Admin and Players (default)
what would be in the other file ? It did originally have an exact copy of the one in the CFG folder . I replaced it with your text ?
I am now going to get the server host to replace the cs file with the one you have on pge 103 and re install it again as I do not have access to the cs file

  4. Why you talking about a cfg file it has nothing to do with this script
These are the files you should have in each folder

    In plugins folder
    Kits.cs
    In config folder
    Kits.json
    In data folder
    Kits.json
    Kits_Data.json

  5. I can understand your frustration with my continued questions and referral to the config file but as you can see from the configs list there is only one file in the data folder, so I was led to believe that the only one left to change was the one in the Config section,
when i first installed this plugin a while ago and recently I found that i had only one cfg file in the Config folder, I uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin till i was sick of it but always had the same result, one cfg , so after reading the posts here i got the server host to put one in the data folder and copied your data.cfg into it as it only contained the same text as the Config.cfg file, as you can see when I installed the plugin it also put a "stray" Kits.json file outside of the folders, this file contains no information at all,
I try to follow the information given on these (and other) posts but like all Multiplay/Clanforge admins I have NO control on how the plugin is installed and where the files are placed or the ability to change .cs files or even to view what (.cs/lua file) is in the plugins folder.
I have been fortunate that the help I have been given here enabled "airdrop extended" to work as well as the other 28 that are working fine, I only have this one and "airdrop arrow" which give me errors
I have requested that server host replace the cs file that you have recommended but as yet this has not been done, will reload plugin when it does and see what happens, i will also show them a link to the above post so that they can make the necessary adjustments
Thank you again for your patience

  6. If you can upload the config.json from your data folder and the same one from your config folder. Also your oxide.groups and oxide.users in your data folder seem to be json files they should be data files so it could be your server version needs updated if it is up to date then you have more problems. The users.cfg, bans.cfg, serverauto.cfg and any other cfg file should be in your cfg folder no where else as you seem to have it in your config folder

  7. [Oxide] 10:08 PM [Info] Loaded plugin Kits v3.1.6 by Reneb[Oxide] 10:08 PM [Error] Failed to initialize plugin 'Kits v3.1.6' (JsonSerializationException: Unexpected end when deserializing object. Path '['NPC - GUI Kits']', line 17, position 2.)[Oxide] 10:08 PM [Debug] at Newtonsoft.Json.Serialization.JsonSerializerInternalReader.ThrowUnexpectedEndException (Newtonsoft.Json.JsonReader reader, Newtonsoft.Json.Serialization.JsonContract contract, System.Object currentObject, System.String message) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 [Oxide] 10:08 PM [Info] Unloaded plugin Kits v3.1.6 by Reneb[Oxide] 10:08 PM [Info] No previous version to rollback plugin: Kits

Then when i fix it kits just doesn't load when i type "oxide.load Kits" into the console and nothing pops up.

    I am also using Clanforge.

I have fixed Kits before with a fresh install and deleting the 3 files generated by kits.sc over FTP i am not able to do so anymore some reason so i cant fix kits. It seems to have broke after adding an autokit and two restarts. I have 0 clue as to why this happens.

  8. Delete the Kits.json in your config folder then try a reload

  9. Will try.

  10. Did you try changing the NPC number in the config

  11. Nope i dont even have NPCs setup yet. Im trying to make it so that players spawn in a "shop zone".

  12. Did the
    Code:
    oxide.reload Kits
    work

  13. I wansnt able to delete the config i dont have FTP access

  14. Do you have any way to delete it like from your hosting panel maybe

  15. If you try to delete it the panel tells you its a required file and can't be deleted.

  16. You will need to delete the script first then

  17. Ok, the cfg you sent me i used to replace the cfg clanforge give you. I
reloaded the kits and now it works i was doing the wrong kits.json before.

^thats the cfg you need to use and replace in Screenshot
id just copy and paste over the existing text.
Then of course reload the plugin.

  18. json files should be in the config folder why are they in the cfg folder

  19. Just the way they set it up i guess. :/

  20. well i cant see what the link is as it says i dont have permission to view it ? a text file would be better, but that does not solve the problem as to why i dont have a kits_data.json file in the data folder, i am waiting to see what happens when the server host adds that file,
i have already uploaded the files you wanted in a previous post, i think (though i might be wrong) that i will have to wait for the kits_data.json file to be added then put the cfg information from pge 100 into that and revert the kits.json in the data folder to its default (?) which seems to be the same as the config cfg one,
the similarity between me and a blind man in the fog is very strong at this time :)

WELL now i have a whole new arrangement for this plugin,
I still have the "stray" Kits.json file which now contains the amended cfg from page 100 (?)
I have the Kits.json file in the cfg folder which is the (untouched) default cfg file
I now have a new Config folder with another default cfg file in it
I have a Kits.json file in the data folder which is the amended pge100 one (!)
AND I now have a Kits_data.json file which is blank apart from 1 ( )

any advice as to what to put where [ :) ] so that this plugin works, once it does i wont be touching it again
