I really hope you removed the <> first
and it should be
oxide.grant group admin removeaaa.*
make sure you put this full thing dont forget the .* at the end

 

how to i fix it the you do not have the permission to do this?

 

You need to give yourself Permissions.. Add permissions for the Permissions on the front page.. No need adding the BP Ones

 

I have gave myself all the permissions (Except the BP ones) and even got the confirmation message in console but after even relogging I open item list and try to spawn something but nothing comes up not even an error message. Any ideas?

 

On my server the grant user Pandaxe_ removeaaa.* command won't work. It keeps on giving the error message of "Permission 'removeaaa.*' doesn't exist. Please help!

Gave myself all permissions. Keep getting "You are missing the necessary permission to do that" when trying to give myself items.

Someone broke the plugin.

 

All permissions given but receiving the error "Couldn't give item" to myself. Fresh install wipe.

 

So we are going to film cinematics on our server, but others are going to play on it aswell, so this is a great idea. We are renting a server with fragnet and we are kinda new to this whole server running business so I was wondering how we set this up to run with our server. Sorry for sounding like a noob, I'm trying to learn this whole thing so the server doesn't fail miserably.

 

People already pointed out their arguments for why we need this plugin and they are all reasonable.Spawning tons of stuff for a simple test will set server population on fire and spam the chat; yet we aren`t doing anything shady but we will still face questions and drama queens.

Facepunch already addressed this in one way; if you are using any plugins, your server goes 'down' to modded.End of the story.If you want full transparency over your admins, go to vanilla and problems are solved.

You need to access your server files through FTP.Then go to oxide>experimental>server>"server name">plugins - this is where you put downloaded plugins from this website.You also have another directory next to plugins, called configs.That is where .json or config files will show up once you load the plugins.You can copy these files outside of your server directory on desktop or somewhere, edit it, then go back to server directory, delete the old .json and paste new one.That is for changing the configuration of plugins. DO NOT edit any .cs files in >plugins directory.

As for permission system, I`ll be very short.Open console by F1 in game, type: ownerid <yoursteam64id> <yoursteamname>
You may also need to do this: usergroup add <yoursteamname> admin (this is if you are adding someone or yourself to admin group, which has max auth level automatically)
You will need to do this then: server.writecfg

Then you apply permissions that you need, which are listed on the overview of this plugin or any other.Basically:

grant [user/group] [default/admin] [permission name]

So lets say you want to give your admins an ability to spawn items through console thing:

grant group admin removeaaa.giveid

I hope this gives you an idea.

 

One more thing; regarding this plugin, you will need to give yourself multiple permissions.If you are going to spawn items through console, give yourself the removeaaa.giveid permission.

And there comes an issue; most of those items would go to belt, so you need to give yourself removeaaa.givearm permission too.

 

help . i had this plugin working and once i put lustymap in my plugins it won't work now , i removed it and put back and permissions are good but it still won't let me gain access to items .?

Hello all, I have been using this for a while now and it worked fine but then the update come and oxides directory changed... my problem is that I give permission and when taken items from the F1 consoles items list "to make kits and stuff" I get the announcement across the server , so so has given them self or a player whatever item you take" and its annoying, even though I use this feature honest it still gets you flak from random players... so any tips would be awesome

 

cheers mate, I just figured it out, I was missing the * from the end of grant user "name here" removeaaa.*, popped that on the end and typed in all the commands and I think its working now I can manage and make kits without any "pff admin abuse or other childish remarks.

 

i go to put in the command to removeaaa.give but it says that the permission does not exist how do i fix this?
