Race System

Hello again, I was curious if it would be possible to do something similar to this but instead to the warp mod. It would be nice to be able to use race as a parameter for different warp points. If this isn't possible no worries.

 

This would be something to post in the warp system to implement as it's a requirement for a warp.
The race system allows for other plugins to get the race of a player.

 

Can you modify to allow this mod to work with the protected zone mod? I asked on his mod and he said that the race mod would need to be modified to work together.

 

Getting hook error on playerchat, login, etc, several errors. Anyone else getting these errors? I tried redownloading the mod and reinstalling as well didnt' help.

Nevermind I wasn't using the commands but editing and older file so i wouldn't have to type it all in again. Use all new stuff it works just fine.

 

I DL these files and when i write
/kit modify starter race dwarf
"invalaid arguments supplied"

but the level parameter works.

 

So this is a bit complicated and I have a work around for this atm but it requires an admin to be online to assign them to a permission group. However it sounds like I can use the levels mod, kits mod, and race mod to accomplish the same thing now that they all work together in a sense. Please confirm if the below is possible.

1) A level 1 new player - Total of 10 Races but limit a level 1 to only choose between two races. Then after one of those races are chosen that player would be able to spawn a kit specific to that race and receive certain permissions?

2) A level 20 player - Can choose between the level 20 or lower races like a new ascension race, receive access to new kits, and receive new permissions?

Are both of these possible? If so do you mind providing an example of how to setup this up or what commands in what order one might have to do this.

 

The permission part of the race system is the permission group needed to be able to select that race, not the permissions it will give to the player. Everything else is possible.

Example with 5 races:
You create 2 races with no level requirement and 3 with a level requirement of 20.
You add 5 kits and or each kit add a race requirement for either of the races that does not have a kit yet

 

So the permission group is the oxide permission group not rok permission group then, correct?

 

How do you make a kit require a certain race? And level too please?

 

You need my modified version of the Kits plugin in order for that to work. With that version, you can simply use "race" as a flag when creating and editing kits.

 

How do I obtain your modified version?

 

You want money I can do that but if you wait to long I'll just figure it out myself
