Race System

Next time please post such things in the forums and not on a page dedicated to a different plugin or pm me about it. It's possible to do that though only reasonable for things as commands since no one wants to get a popup in the middle of combat just because a plugin wants to send everyone a message that pops up every once in a while

Me and other server owners I have contact with can actually confirm it does work. Did you use the /rs.restore command (or /rs.convert if you want to convert old data)?

 

ive download this version and is forced to use older version with out race protection since this one doesnt work nothing pops up for race to choose its just blank ive done everything unistall all race files restarted and added this verison of it in and nothing is listed to choose a race just blank

 

I Don't Know If It Is Possible To Disable Player Damage Until They Choose A Role So We Dont Have Non Players Doing Damage Until They Have Chosen A Race But allow Races To Kill Non Name Races

 

Did you use the /rs.restore command? When you first load the plugin no races are loaded in. With this command you can load in some basic races I added as default data. You will need to use the command for them to be loaded in though. You can also use /rs.add (racename) to add races yourself.

 

Hello, I have a question. How do you force a player to remove his race ? I'm trying some races with my friends but they are stuck to my name.

 

Ah, you mean you changed stuff and now you have multiple races in front of your name?
If so then use the "/permissions reload" command.

If you want to actually force a player to be a specific race use the "/rs.force (racename) (playername)" command.

 

is there a way to add a limit to how many race people can be in on my server it seams there are like 10 humans and like 2 or 3 of the other race like a cap on the race so it pop ups and says at this time that race is full then they choose another one or a command i can put to stop people from picking a race that has alot ?

Like rs.pause race name popup message This Race Is Full At This time.

 

Will add this on next update. Made some changes regarding the nameformat update script and the permissions needed for a race.

I want to put a Race Name Admin, that only the admin can take, how do I do that, I know there a command for permision, but how does it work, im not sure what to put there, thank you

 

Once you added the race through the /rs.add command you use "/rs.addpermission (racename) (permissiongroup name)".
Example:
/rs.add God
/rs.addpermission God Admin

 

Whats The Command To Get The .Json File Its Not Showing Up To Edit It

 

Check the oxide_(date).txt log file in your SERVER/oxide/logs directory to see if there are any errors.

the file should automatically be created.

 

i mean were i can modify dwarf human ect

 

To edit the races you need to use the ingame commands.
Use /rshelp to get a list of all the commands, or take a look at the plugin description page.
