I recently made a private one for XP Rankings, if you wish to have one private for kills, it will take quite the bit of time, but is possible. As for your troubles, even if the config is different, it should mess it up much, but you should copy/paste the ranks before it and make sure that they are similar with the commas, etc.

i have group 'pro' with 50 hours playing, and have group 'guru' with 100 hours playing. Then 'pro' player have 100 hours, betterchat add this player in 'guru' group but dont revoke 'pro' group, if i manually remove player from 'pro' group, playerrankings add again player with 100h in group 'pro'.
How to fix this problem?

 

i was wondering on server wipes if there is a way to get rid of the ranks without deleting the oxide user data. i have VIP's on 30 day TimedPermission and im starting to get to many to keep manually putting in each wipe. Other than that this is a great plugin. Everyone enjoys it and gives them something to work towards.

 

There is a way, but it could be risky. The PlayerRankings I just uploaded right now automatically removes people if they do not have the time that the rank in the configs requires. However, I have not tested it yet, but only on another private plugin I made. So all you would have to do if you want to remove everyone's ranks is delete connectiondb and have everyone start with 0 hours, and then use this plugin which has a check to make sure that they get removed from the groups.

How do I the rankings to show in chat next to the player's name. I entered the groups in better chat, however, when players talking in chat their rank is not shown. Please help.

 

BetterChat should handle that: Add the group in the PlayerRankings config then make a group on BetterChat with the same name and it will recognize it. Then after the set hours are passed, he should be granted the rank and should be available on chat to the way you modified it.

I edited the ranking names in the config but I'm still getting the default "Pro" and "Regular" when I use the /ranks in game. All of the ones I put into the config are showing up as well? How do I get rid of the "Pro" and "Regular"?

 

You can edit them manually inside the plugin, but just be careful.

 

Did you manage to get rid of them? As a temporary fix, I assigned 0.01 hours to Regular and 5000 hours to Pro.
Not the best solution, but maybe a consideration.

 

It is possible just to ignore them, yes. But changing them inside the plugin would work as well.

May be able to do it with the rankup messages. But images for ranks cannot be done. The rankings are dependent on BetterChat and I believe that issue has been discussed before if you look at the support a few pages back
