Before the newest update, it was setup to automatically create new groups on BetterChat, now you can manually create the ranks on BetterChat, and as long as you have your PlayerRankings configs the same, all should be well.

Remove all your current ranks, update PlayerRankings.

If that doesn't work, try to manually remove the ranks from BetterChat.

i unload/delete ConnectionDB - in datad
and unload/delete data\BetterChat\Players\
and load plugin and all players got + Rank [Players][oldrank][oldRank] =(

when i use /chat user remove id group - he automatik get Default group

 

No need to do anything with ConnectionDB.
Check your BetterChat data for repetitive [Player] Tags and current ranks.

Read the Overview to double-check everything.

Default group is default, and just needs to be modified.

Anybody use this plugin to display player statistics on their/a website?

 

No, there are other plugins for that use probably. Player Rankings does not do that.

KDRGui keeps score of statistics such as Kills, Deaths, and K/D Ratio, but not on a website, but rather the server itself.

Im aware, I was just wondering if someone used the database this plugin uses to extract said data and display on a website. I have been unable to find other plugins that strictly do that apart from Rust Admin, alas my server runs on a Linux box and Rust Admin is an .exe application. So I was hoping to cannibalize this plugins code for that purpose.

 

The data is from ConnectionDB, accessed in PlayerRankings, which portrays playtime.

Is connectionDB installed? And do the playerrankings groups match BetterChat's groups that you manually added?

 

Yes, both of these things. Before the recent update everyone was ranking up fine.

No need! I fixed it myself as you wrote that. I must commend your plugin, it has made my server have a lot more reoccuring players because they want higher ranks <3

I fixed it by looking in my BetterChat config and seeing that one of my ranks was accidentally a higher priority in BetterChat over a higher rank.
