1. * Are you sure the plugin is running at all? .. And if not please check your server's console for any errors related to Notifier
    * If yes, make sure in the Settings section in your config file, which setting that enables each command is set to true, then reload the plugin
    * /help is not a Notifier command, read the Usage Notes in the overview for more info. Moreover Notifier's commands description can be seen with /notifier help instead

  2. Yes, for example in "/notfier help" to lets show more avialble commands for players they can use. (commands from other plugins maybe)

  3. The Notifier connection log in the data folder isn't working anymore. I updated Notifier to its latest version on the 13th and after that the connection log no longer updates. Any clue why? It is a very useful log.

  4. whats the point in using the plugin if it doesn't display what country people are joining from ? and to have this work i have to use an older version of the plugin and loose out on new features?

  5. maybe it's a stupid question but, is there any way to make the welcome message stay longer on the screen when the user logs in on the server ...

    Thank you

  6. I will see what I can do about that, though I can only make it to show Notifier's commands and not third party plugins, you have Help Text plugin for that.

    Log files are in logs folder and not data, also I checked the code and tested the latest version and this is working fine.
    [DOUBLEPOST=1448305945][/DOUBLEPOST]
    I have explained this issue a few dozen times but if you cannot understand the reasons then I cannot do much about it , moreover if I had the Python tools I was used to then all this would be working fine that I'm sure but things in Oxide are a bit more trickier , and understand this 'player country' is just a small feature to make a few other more important features better as they are , I know its kinda of important to have it , but if does not work well for you or else you don't like it then you better just remove the {country} name formats and don't use it at all.

    I am sorry if this is not working well for you.
    [DOUBLEPOST=1448306196][/DOUBLEPOST]
    I could do this if I could use the UI , but unfortunately there is not much support for UI in Python , I've asked for help to Oxide's devs but I get none as they focused more on C# then the other languages.
    But answering your question, you cannot extend the messages time on the chat.

  7. Sorry about the typo, I was talking about the logs in the logs folder (not data). Mine have not updated since the update. Is there anything in the config file that affects logging?

  8. Yes, HelpText is good but sometimes, too mutch information about all plugins.
    Can you maybe set the /notifier help to write more selected commands in the config for showing players if they enter /notifier help (third party commands) ?

  9. I will ask you to please install the version attached to this post, this version will tell me whats happening, once you install the version and Notifier tries to log a connection it will most likely raise an error, please paste the error here.
    [DOUBLEPOST=1448393548][/DOUBLEPOST]
    I will see what I can do.

  13. I've already seen the error, this requires a code fix, I'll have to ask you to be a little bit more patience until the fix is released, though thank you for reporting.

    P.S: You will not need to change anything your config file when the fix is released, so don't mind it.
    [DOUBLEPOST=1448489832][/DOUBLEPOST]Hello everyone,

    I currently do not own an online Rust server so I cannot really test stuff on a normal playable server, as all as I do is test everything alone. I need anyone who could simply upload your notifier-countries_db.json file in your data folder of your server with a reasonable amount of data stored, so I can make a few tests on the current version and probably fix a few errors. I would really appreciate this.

    Thanks in advance.

  14. Do you think it would be possible to add in an FAQ section? For instance, people often ask questions like, "When is the next wipe?" "How does [mod] work?" "How long until bodies despawn?", etc. Would be nice to have an /FAQ where I could put this information in and players could access it. Would be awesome to have this as a feature. Or is there something out there already like this?

  15. You could use my Info Boards for Rust Experimental | Oxide for that.

  18. Everytime I reload the plugin it spams chat with all the connected players and the join message.

  19. SkinN õ.Õ'.|. updated Notifier with a new update entry:

    Notifier | Minor Fix

    Version 3.0 In Coming:
    The latest version is now the last Python version of Notifier, version 3.0 is now my top priority and will be the one I'll be working on for now on. This means I will be finally porting Notifier to C#, which will greatly improve it's performance even though that is not quite an issue with the current version, but will be faster and I will be trying to simplify things as they are now. Though, this will be a bit of a slow process as I am developing 3.0 as I learn C#, and also I will do my best to have Notifier running with all the features from the current Python version on day one. I do not have any estimated time on this, for the reasons I mentioned before, just know I have been working on it for a while and that now I am more focused on it.
    Even though my goal here is to just port Notifier to C#, I will of course port my other plugins to C# and maybe even work on new plugins in the future, but better than this I want to finally work on UI features, mostly for Notifier and Rank-ME.

    Now, who the fuck is SAM?
    A lot of you asked and wondered why I have added these random messages to Notifier about 'SAM', and here's why.
    SAM is actually a plugin I have worked before a few years ago for another game, which at the time a lot of its users thought I named it after me, but in fact I did not, 'SAM' is short Source Admin Menu, I just thought it cooler to name it SAM, and back in the days I did the same, I have added these random messages to SAM as sort of an inside joke.
    Now the reason I brought it into Notifier is just because a had some people from that time who recognized and asked me to bring SAM to Rust using Oxide, and I do intend to do so, but there is a lot to plan before working on it.

    And that's about it. :)

    See you guys soon.
