Notifications [Unmaintained]

New update broke mod.
or at least seems to have.

 

Somehow when i do /admins is says nothing.. it doesn't say "unknown command" but it's just nothing. And my join & disconnect notifications doesn't work at all, doesn't show when someone joins. And /info is an unknown command.

I do have a couple plugins, is this plugin crashing with some other specific plugin?

Ok So I will help you with this.
For the /info as per the main page of this mod that function is not included here is what is:

The reason why /admins doesn't show with a "unknown command" but also doesnt show anything will most likely be that in the config file it is set to false, if you change this setting to true, save and then reload the mod it should work as expected.

I have 90 mods installed and have no problems, the only time you will have issues is if you have clashes, this will be to mods for example that use the /plugins command, if you have notify mod installed I would recommend removing it as they are the same mod, this one has been recoded though.
Other wise please reply back with a list of your mods and a copy of your console (recommend using rusty) when you type "oxide.reload *"

Thanks that fixed that issue for me, onlything that does not work is motd still but that's ok!

 

I am glad that You sorted out that issue, for the MOTD are you wanting to have that enabled?
if so double check the config to check its settings, if it is set to false then change to true and run oxide.reload Notifications

 

Seems to have stopped working with easy airdrop/ airdrop controller does not announce airdrop, no "message" function built into plugin (?) announces meteor strikes coming but not "heli"
and "death notes" messages no longer appearing,
as a suggestion can the ability to use other plugins messages when a true or false choice is made, I like this plugin and it works with everything else, though the join leave messages do not say country only "unknown"

 

Very simple to use, very nice. However, would love to customize the commands. Would it be possible?

None of these functions were ever included ..

 

After a few hours of the server being up, /players returns an empty list and only shows in the console.

Sorry if dumb question but do you need Oxide installed on your server to run this? Or is there a way to have this plugin installed and still keeping your server listed as "community server"?

 

All plugins require Oxide to be installed. Once Oxide is installed, your server will be moved to the Modded list.

Not sure what that error means. It seem to be something more Oxide related than plugin related. @Wulf?
