how do I add color to my messages?

Installed GeoIP to get the country tag on joined players, but do I need to activate it somehow as it isn't showing any tags on joining players.

 

use the {country} tag

 

At first this made no sense, but after checking the *.json file I understood it, I thought the tag was default as you've listed it in the standard config code - wasn't aware it was excluded in the downloadable one

 

no. You just donwloaded the plugin at a lower version. Means the tag was not included there yet.

 

I dunno if it's GeoIP or Notifications that have the issue, but I'm getting the "unknown" on anyone joining...

I've tried looking up all the "unknown" players IP up on GeoIP (no idea if it's the same GeoIP as used with the plugin) and it show's their country and all

 

Strange. It should be GeoIP. Maybe post that into GeoIP's thread too.

Yes seems to be ok.

While using this, i noticed, sometimes ppl are listed as unknown country and other times with DK or CH even in DK. I thought , well, this can be a proxy issue of a kind?
[DOUBLEPOST=1445127274][/DOUBLEPOST]I saw an entrance in the Notification plugin, "type /info to see info about the server". Is this an upcoming feature?

 

maybe but I must say this plugin will propably not exist / being update much longer after the wish of SkinN who created the original plugin Notifier. This was an C# alternative to it and he is currently working on a c# rewrite.
