LustyMap

Hi all,

Expecting many "Vending machines" to be in my server soon.

Has anyone a good concept of using /marker add "hooks vending machine" or something similar.

Players will want to advertise there machines and what they have.

What I would like is "blood sacrifice" or something, where an NPC sells them a blood bag they go to there designated location and drink it.
(boom, marker on the map)

Perhaps someone is already started an addon to hook to this addon?
Or knows of a basic addon (on use an item, do command [or could write one for me])

I'm still getting black map for some players. The map is working fine for me, but almost every player reports black map.
The only solution that works for me right now - switching back to custom map. The map, that is being downloaded from beancan.io is black for almost everyone....
Is there any solution for this?

 

The Lusty Map icon pack won't open. "The archive is either in unknown format or damaged". Anyone else getting that error?

You just have to wait. As the warning says - your map is still being generated by beancan.io

What's wired.... Are you sure that your API key is correct? In this case I'm usually using custom map file...

 

are u using beancain maps or rustio maps? i try comstum maps aswell but they i get this

hey i can get into my server just fine, but one of my friends can also get in just fine, until he logs out and when he does he can connect back in until the part where he is sleeping the minute he wakes up he gets this error and i also see it in rcon >>>>>> RPC Error in CL_ReceiveFilePng

 

It _appears_ this plugin is causing a memory leak issue on the client side. RustClient.exe memory usage climbs steadily when I'm playing on my server. I unload LustyMap and it stops. Load it again, memory starts climbing again and doesn't stop. Any ideas?

 

Well I took out Lusty map just to see and sure enough every one could connect just fine, even had them disco and reco to see, went as far as to download all new images and new cs file with new api key , added it back to the server and about 15 got kicked right away with that error code and I had every one disco and try to reco again and they all got the same error, took Lusty map back out and bam no errors and all could join.

 

on my friends server the map has stopped working for players, map is just all black , still working for admins only ?

 

It's intermittant, doesnt matter if you're admin or not. It's generally the minimap that is weird, I've found the only way to fix it for the people that are on then and there is to delete image data and reload plugin, and even then it might not work for those same people when they come back to the server later.

@k1lly0u Could really do with a fix man, it's showing the same sort of issues as when they changed how images worked a few months ago.

for some reason my map in game is black screen now :/ doesnt show actual map

 

I've done all the "fixes" and none of them work sadly.

the fixes worked for me. I deleted the entire storage folder in steam. I also removed all traces of lusty map from server. then installed .cs and edited json.

the other thing Is after doing this I had to close rust and steam and restart rust, steam had to reload the storage file and that took a few seonds. but when I came back it was like loading in for the first time.. and all works great.

also the people on my server say all the lag is gone and the map works for the first time..
