Item names changed, so ladders are not limited.

This is the original LimitedLadders plugin, but its not working and i suspect its because the item name for laddr changed, it is now "ladder.wooden.wall" .. how can we fix this plugin?

Hi, Im using Multiplay and clanforge and for some reason this plugin doesn't generate a cfg I can edit, it also fails to block ladders at all, can you help?

The name misled me... made me believe you could control the amount of ladders one was able to place under 'building blocked'.
I guess my suggestion would be to implement this?

 

Loving this plugin, but the addition of perimeter gates is about to make it not viable given that a perimeter wall costs 5 c4 to take down!

Could you possibly make an option to allow perimeter walls to be scale-able in order to prevent these "overpowered" new additions?

 

They already are... go try it.

Which leads me to my question/request......Please give us the option to make ladders NOT work on the External Stone and Wood Walls. There is NO way to defend them right now...and that makes them useless in my opinion. Thanks~!
[DOUBLEPOST=1439348237][/DOUBLEPOST]EDIT: Okay, I watched a player authorize himself on a cupboard, then scale an external wall with a ladder. Only, there was a cupboard inside the external walls where he wasn't authorized ... prob about 30meters from the other cupboard that he authorized himself on. He placed the ladder on the wall even tho he only authorized himself on one of the cupboards. I tried it and I could do it too....but, I tried it at a different base without authorizing myself and it didn't work....I'm sooooo confused.

 

Working on it, will be ready soon.

What's the problem? You can't put a ladder if you don't have building privilege.
So in order to do that you must access "main" cupboard and obtain it.

 

Yeah, I guess he got the main cupboard then.

Seems limited ladders will be default with today's update.

 

Any way to have this plugin updated to include configurable ladders? IE: Let the server owner decide if they can be placed within cupboard range or not?

some extended configure features such as amount of ladders to be allowed within cupboard range would be quite nice, too, I think.

 

I think the new changes should be welcomed but with the ability to place ladders on Rocks and Glaciers.

 

Mods are about having options. Lots of players (and owners) do not like the proposed change, thus the request.
