no can't see any errors relating to this plugin its not working on the server people can place ladders where they want,
downloaded plugin and reinstalled it to no avail

 

Hm.. did you tried to set DisableOnlyOnConstructions to true?

Just checked out on my own server. Both modes works fine.
Are you sure plugin is installed and loaded correctly?

 

Thanks for your replys guys I thought the mod was broken because someone was raiding yesterday placing ladders inside cuboard radius, he also got one headshot 103m one bullet with ak74u and lo and behold he has a vac ban so i guess it was somone trying to cheat and blend in, Plugin is working thankyou, so just have to wait till he connects again give him a nice long ban

 

No need to wait for him to connect again, just bring up your server logs and look for a kill distance of 103m. You should see his steam ID and name, then ban him. The plugin doesn't seem to work for me either, no errors. Just doesn't work, strange.

(Update!) The plugin is working as intended. BUT!!! Everyone can still place ladders on rocks to get up to buildings regardless if you a tool cupboard is built. Placing ladders on buildings with no authority to cupboards will fail. Hopefully in a future release, this plugin will give us an option to disable placing on rocks as well.

 

Plugin, for me, displays the default blocked message no matter what is set in config.

 

Did you read plugin description?
Initially, no ladders can be placed when building is blocked. So you most likely set "DisableOnlyOnConstructions" to true and that's why people can place ladders on rocks but not on the building.

This is normal behavior when DisableOnlyOnConstructions is false.
Blocking is handled by the game and in this case i can't modify this message.

 

Thanks, I noticed that at the last minute. After unloading your plugin, even deleting it from the plugin folders, I had to restart the server to build ladders again. Is this also normal?

 

Yes, it's quite normal because plugin modifies ladder definitions and unloading does not gives the reverse effect.

Anyway we can add these ridiculous walls to the authorization list similar as rocks? They're a bit too cheap to craft and already ridiculously built up now.

Where do i find server/identity/oxide/plugins folder.....where can i find this folder and where do i change"DisableOnlyOnConstructions" to true ...i cant find it to change

 

It would be very nice if you are able to have a setting, which prevents ladders on EXTERNAL WALLS. The walls which were just added

 

Definitely add a config for the external walls, they are way too OP for the price. 1500 hp!

 

since with this update players can put ladders even if building it s blocked..any fix?
