Items Blocker

This isn'y something that should be done by this plugin. It's only purpose is to block players from USAGE some cloth\items,not crafting. I have no idea if the plugins for this exist nor wanna create one, sorry =)

 

can i set this to block the use of explosives after so many have been used per player so say guy a uses 30 c4 it will then block him for 30 mins before he can use c4 again ????

 

Ouch. It took me a while to undestand what you wrote....
Nope. This plugins purpose is to block all listed items from use for a limited time. You idea is impossible within it.

 

would it be possible to make such a thing as there is plugins out there that can block a teleport if damaged. there must be a way to block c4 being used if you are blacklisted or have used to much and then add a timer on it untill you can use it next

 

Hello great plugin . I was wondering if this can be used and tied in somehow with zone manager so when player enters a specific zone . player cannot use certain item in the zone. Maybe zone manager grants permission when you enter and that permission sets it so player is blocked from using xyz items. Thank you

 

Влад, привет. Нужна твоя помощь. Если в конфиге поставить "Wipe" на Тру, то после каждого рестарта он ставит блок на 24 часа. Также, если ты сделал вайп к примеру раньше выхода обновы, при обновлении время опять опять происходит блок на 24 часа. Можно ли сделать так, что только когда ты удаляешь карту и все файлы, что связны с с вайпом, автоматически ставился блок ? Или сделать консольную команду, которая позволила бы это сделать.

Vlad, Hello. Need your help. If I set "Wipe" to True, plugin will automatically set a new block for 24h after each restart. Also, if you make a wipe for example, before the release of dev update, plugin will also automatically set a new block for 24h after updating . Is it possible to make plugin setting new time and bock when I deleted map and all files which are connected with a wipe only? Or make a special comd which do this in console ?

 

Hm... recently was added hook OnNewSave, I can try to use it insted of config parametr.
After each restart? That's strange - it should disable itself after the first plugin run. Gonna take a look on what I can do.

 

"After each restart?" Yeah. I think because I set in config "Wipe" in the end to True. Waiting news from you.

 

I've just tested it. Works like it should. After the first run of the plugin with an option "Wipe" enabled - plugin sets wipe date to the current time and disables "Wipe" option. You got some really wired bug.... No idea what can cause this.
Any way - I'll take a look at the OnNewSave then I'll have some free time.

This must be done with another plugin. I can make one, but not for free =)

Did it. Now there is no "Wipe" config option - wipe is being detected automaticly. But for it to work you should REMOVE MAP SAVE FILE on wipe.

 

is there anyway to fix the timer on thursdays i add itemblocker for 3 days but the timer is not correct if player checks it on sat or sun it states the same time anyway to fix this ?

 

Same time? That's wierd... everything seems to work for me. Gonna check it then I can. Can you provide some screenshots?

Is there a way that I could use this to block players from using certain items but allow NPCs such as scientists to use the blocked items? My scientists aren't using their weapons!

 

Not right now. There is the problem with them - they seems to runs the same hooks, as the players. I'm gonna take a look at this and see what I can do about it, then I'll have a free time.

You can help me out by trying it now - after this update bots should be able to use any weapons and clothes even if they are in block =)

The reason I asked for it is because I use the AI via BotSpawn to act as area denial... I have different kits that get loaded to AI in different areas that gets increasingly more difficult to deny players from easily entering the area before certain items are unlocked.

UPDATE: The changes work. NPCs can use items that are blocked. Thanks!
