u need to Update Oxide again as its working fine now.

 

what version are you using because even after update it still spits out the JsonReaderException error

 

oxide 2.0.3591 is the one im on
I had exactly the same issues as u till the last update came out

also u can check infopanel is working by doing this in console

oxide.reload InfoPanel

 

same, it will work if I delete old config file tho

 

Yea, If you delete the old config it will work. But I don't wanna have to re-position everything again. Anyone have any idea how to fix this without having to start all over again? Maybe an update to fix the issues?

 

remove the config
boot the server so it writes a new one
then copy the old one back and 0.reload InfoPanel

Works fine for me

Hey just made my rust server, running oxide and RustIO, and i tried to get this plugin to work, but it isn't working and when i type things such as to hide or show it says it isnt a command. i am an owner and have the owner Status but it won't work. do i need to set permissions somehow? Thanks for all replies!

I changed the messages from "Leeeeeeeeroy Jenkins" etc to my own, but still shows as that and not what I put. I restarted my server several times and clicked transfer the changed file on ftp several times ... is there some other thing Im missing?

 

where did u change the message as im certain u change it in the Lang folder.
I may be wrong but take a look

 

The Infopanel.json file .. only place I could see the messages appearing the same as on screen

 

yeah u right i had the same issue but i removed it in end.
Now even i forgot where

 

You need to reload the plugin after making changes in the config

its in the config file not lang

 

Delete InfoPanel Plugins/Lang/config/.... all files InfoPanel. upload new InfoPanel.cs in plugins

 

Bit extreme!! All you need to do to change the messages is open the InfoPanel.json in oxide/config/

Once changes are made with notepad++ upload it back to the same location (oxide/config) type in RCON / CONSOLE: o.reload InfoPanel = get bacon
