  2. Just installed this plugin... i used it and when i tried to /unhide my character has started spazzing out and zooming all around the map in the sky. Removed the plugin. Did nothing. Any way to fix?
     
  3. Just a note,
    Each time a person with no permission shoots a bullet the message comes up Sorry you can't use hide right now.
    That person with no permissions shot an animal and died, body seemed to despawn instantly.
    Let me know when you want me to do some more testing. I have a spare server we can use here to test each version for you.

    Players will receive damage for hurting non-props, that's how the gamemode works. Corpses are also removed to keep things clean.

    I'll fix the weapon spam though.

    I'll take a look and see if I can reproduce it. I'd probably need more details regarding what you hid as, etc.
     
  6. ok. Well i hid as a toolcupboard. I did manage to sort this problem out. Not sure if it was because it wasnt working well with another plugin or maybe just the object i hid as. Fixed the issue by killing myself and leaving the server while still in the respawn menu and relaunching my game. i then joined a different server then went back to my own. Hope this info helps to fix it! :)

    Joining another server wasn't needed, but I have hid as cupboards with no issues.

  9. will this be a plugin that can be used in a certain zone for an event? or is this server wide?

    I haven't decided yet, but I'll think about it more once I get to implementing event code.
     
  11. Maybe the addition of an ON/OFF switch for the game mode until you do more with the event part of it.
    Until then we can just load and unload the plugin.

    Eventually when you finish the main part of the code send to the plugin InfoPanel so people can see when the mode is activated.
    I like the idea of it being zone related when you get to that part.
    Would make more sense to localise it to a smaller area so people have a chance of finding the person hiding.

  13. Suggestion for the event part when you get to it:
    - Game mode started on a random timer between X and Y eg. 45 and 90 minutes or using the TimedEvents plugin to make it easier.
    - Game mode offers players to join Hide and Seek with a countdown timer (1 or 2 minutes or X based on a config file choice)
    - People type /play or something to join the game mode
    - people are transported to a location that is walled off in a special zone with Invent saved and a Hide and Seek kit added.
    - Game randomly picks X number of people that have hide ability (Maybe takes into account the last people that had hide so they don't get it twice in a row. Could also choose how many hide based on total players that accepted the invite)
    - Game offers X minutes to find the player(s)
    - when people die they get transported back and original invent replaced.
    - if people hiding succeed they get a prize configured in Config file
    - if people find a player they get a prize configured in Config file for each find.
    - Game over, people transport back to where they were

    Love where this is heading. Adds more fun to RUST

    /hide -> /unhide -> TPS Screen -> plugin unload -> killme -> TPS...

    Ah, is your player an admin? There's currently no easy way to restore the view if you are admin/mod.
