GatherManager

When the people hit nodes only metal and sulfur they start getting 1 ore per hit and at the end they get the full ore so it take like 20 hits with a ice pick to get the full node. Please help!

 

Can this mod remove gathering all together or is there another mod that can do that?

 

sounds like your wanting to be apart of the terminus trend , well just set" gather.rate dispenser wood 0 " do it to all dispenser / pickup /etc .

Hey i have some problems with this mod, im trying to get the quarry to get tickrate to 5 sec, but it keeps going back to default when i log off and on again, doesn't matter if i write it in console or RCON, but the quarry gather rate x5 sticks. and now the quarry still harvests after i turn it off? tried to delete plugin and reinstall it but no. anyone got an idea? and the tickrate goes back to default if i put up another quarry and try there :s

Hm, there is a bug, if I set

gather.rate dispenser "Sulfur Ore" 0.00

and smash the sulfur node it says Sulfur Ore 0 but in my inventory, there is a 1 sulfur. When I continue mining I don't get another 1 sulfur ore till I drop that one from my inventory. Then I get 1 again.

Same for other resources (stone, wood, metal ore)

 

You can set gather rates to 0, but it's currently not possible to remove gathering all together in rust without a hook addition / change.

You logging off and on again wouldn't effect the quarry tickrate, ensure it has saved in the configuration file oxide/config/GatherManager.json

Check the overview for the commands to set gather rates.

You would set the dispenser / pickup of "High Quality Metal" to whatever you'd want to make it as.

 

So I upped the resources gathered from animals x5. But it takes forever to harvest. It starts out fine but then it drops to really low numbers (as low as +1 at times) and you're just whacking away at the corpse forever. Was there something else I needed to alter in the config to make the gather rate consistent?

Thank you. I'll get to fiddling with those in the a.m. I thought I must've broke something. But as usual I just forgot to do something.

 

This is happening to me.. The last 5 or 6 hits are really low, like 8 or 9, when the other hits are 300+ (got it set to 3x) - Did the update break something?

 

Is there a way to Set all gather rates at the same time and not do wood,stone,metal ext individually?

Okay. So I tried using gather.scale * 5 But I get no response after and nothing changes when I harvest(and yes, I do remember to reload the plugin). I just spawned a scientist to check the human rate and everything is +1. I must be missing something.

 

Sorry, the command is "dispenser.scale" not "gather.scale"

 

It's all good. I was trying out all the commands and it just worked itself out. Thank you for responding. Now I know to use * if I need to edit the json again.

 

Now I feel dumb. I didn't even notice the bright red letters on the overview stating to use the asterisk.
