  1. Seems to compile but no buttons work. However, you can still close menu with N. Hud/Overlay issues with most of my plugins today.
     
  2. Looking forward to those BattleZones. Great work with this plugin so far. I'm hoping to run a server that uses this as a focus in the near future. I'm wondering if you can tell me: if someone in a faction group places a turret, will everyone else be on the whitelist for it if PVP inside the faction is disabled? I'm also looking for a way to have other faction members be authorized for locks and cupboards without having to physically go through the usual steps. I'm looking at using other plugins to just give permissions to the groups made for the Factions, but if you wanted to include anything for this that would be stellar. My idea for this coming into play is if I build a faction main base as the leader, that I want all members to have access to. But I don't want to give out codes in case of treason, and I don't want to break walls to reveal cupboards for every new joiner. If they could just join the group, then get a quick few clicks from me and instantly have any access I deem worthy that would really be ideal. Just a thought! Thanks again for the hard work on this.

    I have implemented the Turret concept you are asking about before on an Event Plugin I made for personal use. It wouldn't be difficult to do but it also wouldnt be very flixbile. It would probably be on Faction join auto authorize on all Turrets owned by the Faction (or Faction Leader only). On Turret creation it would auto authorize all Faction members (or perhaps only when the LEADER makes a turret). Finally on Faction leave/kick/unassign the player would be removed from all applicable turrets.

    As per cupboards.. I had a standalone plugin that did this but it never worked properly. I can look back into it. It would be nice to a have a section in the Faction Menu for each leader that lists their cupboards and allows selection of cupboard and player name to authorize.

  5. True, a per player per cupboard system would be the best. I'm mostly interested in turrets and locks (doors, hatches) at this time. Leader specific would be the best, imo, and if toggle able even better. The toggle isn't even totally required it would just be a nice option. I'm thinking of a leader making or finalizing a main base type area that would accept all in the faction members safely and be able to store loot and such, but maybe the leader wouldn't want everyone to be able to get in to a certain room or a separate personal base. What about if it ties in to zones manager, as a flag to be set on each zone?? Thanks for getting back to me. I like where this plugin is heading.

  11. Hey gread work, i try to create a good factions system, i have the problem, that i cant use the Tax Box, i get the message :
    It must be a large or wooden box also use the cupboard enabled.

    all thoese things are green, but it does not work. something that I should forget?
    Which plugin do i need for using Tax? Event and reward plugins aren´t in use.

  12. No you are correct. I found the solution to the tax box and have a release coming very soon! It is actually related to the authorization of a tool cupboard and would also be the reason some have mentioned building protection isn't quite working right. I have altered the logic to check if the leader of someone in his/her faction is the owner of the box instead of for tool cupboard authorization. So in the update you would be able to build a box anywhere and make it a tax box.
     
  13. Does anyone want to test the newest update for me? The biggest change is the addition of AutoAuthorization and BattleZones. AutoAuthorization when enabled makes it so any faction member can open locked doors owned by the Leader (untested). It also automatically adds Faction members to turrets on creation.

    BattleZones brings an entirely new incentive to being on a Faction. The Leader of each Faction is able to create a BattleZone (which has a cooldown - configurable in the Config File). There can only be one BattleZone at any time across the entire server; so if one is open you must destroy it or wait for it to end prior to making one for your Faction. Upon creation of the BattleZone the Leader's inventory and health are saved. He or she is then automatically given resources, a building plan, a hammer, (2) auto turrets, armored doors, and code locks. The Leader is given a 15 minute grace period to build prior to anyone else being able to join or enter the Zone. After the preparation period ends everyone on the server within a Faction that is not a Free-For-All Faction is presented a button to "Join the BattleZone". Prior to joining each player should equip themselves for battle. Upon pressing the button the players inventory and health are saved. Any attacker that enters the zone is given 2 C4 a rocket launcher and rockets. The objective is to kill the Leader. The objective for the Leader is to defeat every enemy or to survive 1 hour.

    The Auto-Turrets deployed by the Leader are spawned with very low life but each time one is destroyed he or she is given a new one.

    Finally, dying results in you not being able to rejoin the BattleZone so it is essentially Hardcore Mode. Also if you try to walk out of the zone it will kill you after a 10 second timer.

    I have tested the basics of the BattleZones but since I dont have active players I couldnt really test the feel of the event.

  15. I regret to inform everyone that this will likely be my last content update. This plugin has grown so massively that I no longer have time to test everything. It also doesn't help that I have an empty server all the time.

    I will be publishing the newest version which includes auto-authorization and BattleZones ASAP and will service any errors that arise. Once it is stable I will be stepping away.

    Anyone is welcome to take over the duties of managing this plugin from that point onward.

  18. I'll add status to faction lists. So if online it will say "Online" if not "Offline". Will that work?

  20. I also added an active Faction Menu that locates Faction Members with a radius and shows their name and active health.
