Disconnecting: RPC Error: recievetexture

Just be aware that if you end up at the same area as before you may get that problem again, this error message is attributed to a bad texture that you fail to load, so if you walk into that area again you may get kicked again, if this does happen please notify the admins on that server

 

I can't delete storage.db with my FTP. Says 550 permission denied.

 

So did you ever upload this "quick mod", as i could really use it right now...

Hi there. I have been unlucky as to creating my own mod. I have contacted the original create of the mod I had modified as he had removed his mod.
Sadly he hasn't replied yet, once I get a response I will hopefully be able to get his source code and modify it again.

Why upload a mod that will require to wipe your world/addons after a while without a warning in the description ?

 

The mod I was talking about wouldn't wipe your server, it would just decay any sign that sil can use, that way it removes the affected sign.
Yes that would remove all signs, but that's better than not being able to join the server if your near the broken sil sign.

Sadly I couldn't get the code from the mod I normally used and don't currently have the time to learn new things to make this mod. possible make it a requests and someone could make it.

 

Can you link us the mod you used? and how you set it up/used it with the code for this please?

There was a mod that I had used, but the auther has since removed it, sadly I also didnt keep a copy. I just spoke with a programmer friend of mine, well be having a look 2moro at making a mod.

 

Fixed it, use Sign Manager and delete all signs. Also make sure to remove Sign Artist.

 

removed Sign Artist and removed all signs with sign manager restarted the server and people cannot hit anything or they get kicked anybody got any ideas

All is now working but i had to do it in a certain order
1. remove sign artist
2. install sign manager and remove all signs
3.remove the storage.db
4. reinstall Rust update
5. reinstall Oxide 2
6. reinstall RustIO

if you update rust/oxide/rustio then remove signs i was still getting errors

I did not get the error until tonight i removed the storage database but it did not fix the error..
also after the update the lustymaps was not working correctly i ended up doing all 3 again to get it running after the removal of the database
